Is it alright to use a 1" 25g pin to inject into the glute, does it depend on body fat %.....or should i just stick with the 23g 1.5" ??

It is dependant upon BF % unless you have very low BF I would stick with a 1.5 inch needle for glutes.....
1.5 inch as stated !!!!
Yeah 1" 1/2 for glutes 23 or 25 g but be careful with 25 g the pin could break...
Also, with the 25gauge it can be really hard to push the solution through the syringe if it is very thick. I think I would stick to a 23guage on an area like the glute, unless someone else is pushing it in. Its really hard to reach around and push with much pressure when youre doing it yourself.
Agreed, but i like the nice slow injection..Originally Posted by Maldorf
I dont mind it on places like my biceps since I can get the right angle to push hard enough, its easy. Pushing the plunger on your butt though is a whole different story, and I would fine myself getting cramps trying to twist around since it was taking minutes to push it all in. Guess Im not very flexible!Originally Posted by stuball
Yeah i know its a very shaky deal, plus aspirating... That needle is all over the place..Originally Posted by Maldorf
25 is for bi,tris delts, ne other muscle other than glutes......
I've only used 25g x 1", and never had any problems whatsoever.

I"m using 25's with 1.5" and 2CC total. a smaller guage would take forever. use the larger guage and just take your time. Ramming the solution can cause pretty bad pain a couple days later.
