    Human body

Man, when I think about all these issues people have with their bodies, I mean everything, skin, organs, etc. I mean everything. It makes me think about how great and amazing yet so inperfect human body is.
Wonder how is it going to be one day, many years from now, when we're gonna evolve to be a better creatures, when there is gonna be no acne, no hair loss, no sickness etc. That would be wonderful.
    Just a thought

I don't know about the no acne and hair loss and whatnot, frankly because they still can't point an exact finger at what causes acne, they know things that help create acne, but not a 100% answer and cure.

Tell me about it bro! I think doctors don't put any money into researching acne because it is "cosmetic" - not life threatening. But they fail to take into account the emotional trauma kids endure when they have shit growing on their face! I was one of the kids in high school that always had zits, and I'm sure I'm more sensitive about it and more vain, but acne is traumatic. It will be nice once science figures that one out, for my (future) kids sake.

    Come on think about it...

They dont finger point a cure soo....

    A) They can prescribe ton of antibiotics, accutane, retin-a-micro.. make alot of $$
    B) Then, they can prescribe, prosac, and anti-depress med's for the kids trauma for looking like a pizza face.

it's all about the money man!!!

I have been involved with the sciences for the last 5 or so years. I have helped or seen projects that involved things like cancer research, ecology, organisms that live in extreme conditions, enviromental bacterial community diversity as it applies to toxins in the enviroment, bacterial physiology, human exercise physiology, human geratric physiology, and some I cant think of at this point. After having a broad view of some different ways life evolves and continues to evolve. Im pretty amazed by just how anyone of us actually live. There are so many things that have to go right every day for someone to wakeup and go to work it is scary to think about. The problem with human disease and disorder is that it will only increase in the future. For one people are becoming genetically less fit as a whole species because we dont have the selection pressures that cause the less competitive individuals to not only survive but breed. The term survival of the fittest is not as clear cut as it was even a 100 plus years ago. We have medicine and treatments that extends the lives of those that in another time would not have made it out of childhood. Not that this is a bad thing it can be considered another form of evolution or human better-ment if you dont like the evolution term. The second point is that enviromental toxins that humans create and pollute the enviroment with will cause more and more disease and birth defects. An example is that just recently a major group of OBGYN's recommended screening for downs-syndrome to all new pregnancies. In there paper they cited enviromental factors (toxins, mutagens, ect) as a factor in the rise in the rate of those with downs syndrome. This is also believed to be a factor in the sharp rise in autism.

Yeah man, I really do think tho, now it's the best time to live. It's right in the middle, because like You said, the way things are going, who the F knows what is gonna happen in next 100 years. To be honest, I don't think we'll need 100 years to see some crazy things happen. Techonology is just flying, opening a totally new doors for all kinds of reserach. If You think about it, everything that You see in the damn SCI-FI, Futuristic movies, comes true... slowly but surely. Soon enough You'll see a cyborg looking people walking on the streets. Everything seen in those movies, is something that amazes people, 1000s of concepts, even seen only in the movie it is still a concept in a way, we just don't know how to get to it, BUT working on it.
    Some scary sh!t.

i heard somewhere that humans will continue to evolve until we are just forms of energy. Also, i think evolution is leading us to not have pinky fingers anymore (cant remember where i heard that)...but i guess you loose what you dont use.

The body can do some amazing things on it's own ,especially when you feed it well and treat it right....I was diagnosed with cancer in 2005, went through chemo, went into remission, started training again and my body came back at 48 years of age. By the way when I was a teenager I had acne and yeah it's a huge difference than cancer, but at the time it's tramatic and it sucks!

moles are worse than acne because acne can go away/disappear but moles won´t go away. To get rid of moles you have do an operation with laser and that cost alot I think. I would much rather have acne in my face than my moles.
