    5000 calorie cheat meal?

Heres the deal. I need to lose about 12-15 pounds by May. I have been dieting for 4 weeks. Here is the diet structure:

10x bodyweight everyday (1950 calories) (9 x bodyweight on non wo days)
P/F for EVERY meal except PWO ( 48 grams of cabs via dextrose)

I am on a 1 on, 1 off split and do fasted cardio 4 days a week.

I have cheated in the past and it never works out, it turns into a full out binge day. Carb loads seem to get out of control, I am talking 6000 calories in oats, yams, etc. So last week my buddy brought home a large pizza and garlic bread. He works at a shop and it was free. I thought about it and before I knew it, in 30 minutes, I ate the entire large pizza, 5 slices of garlic bread and a HUGE bowl of ice cream. I then went to bed. The next morning it was business as usual and I felt 100% better, looked better and still lost 2 pund last week.

My question finally! This meal was all mental to me and if I continue to have 1 huge cheat meal over 20 minutes once a week and still lose 1 1/2-2 pounds a week, should I continue? How much fat tissue can be soted in 20 minutes?

Thanks for bearing through this long read.

    I am 6' 193 lbs and about 14-15% BF

I dont see any benefit in doing that whatsoever, But everyone needs to go nuts every once in a while. See how I say once in a while though. So I wouldnt PLAN to have it every week, if you can get by the week without it than do it and keep going until you erally need it, dont just have it because of its Wednesday night and its scheduled. That's just kinda pointless imo.

Actually I feel better now than I have in a few years. For some reason eating fat gives me more energy than carbs. Without a weekly carb load I still feel that I ned something on a weekly basis.

Isnt low low low carbs and high high high fat a "keto" diet?

calories are way too low. bw x 10 to start the diet is too drastic. where do you go then? bw x 9, then x 8?

gonna drop alot of muscle that way.

    rofl.

I went back and decided that was mean to say that without giving any extra input.

JMO again. I have tried low cal/low low carb diets. Sure i lost weight..but a lot of that weight was muscle so yes..I did some raisin action..lots of shriveling

Thanks for the input. I changes my diet to 12 x bodyweight and I raised my protein to 250 grams and I am going to have 2 pwo meals of 50 grams of carbs each. Thanks for the help.

My new diet will be 250 protein, 65 fat, 100 carbs (only in 2 pwo meals) I would like to have pre workout carbs also but after reading alot on here most say that ppwo carbs are more mportant than having carbs 1 hour before a workout.

    Just remember this
    1 lb of fat = 3,500 calories
Now, by just limiting that massive cheat meal you can loose 2-2.5 lbs a week instead of 1.

Will do. It is done. I figure with 100 or so grams of carbs a day for repair, I need no cheat whatsoever. I just hope that I lose no muscle due to no carbs for my 3-4 meals leading up to my 7 PM workout. I DO NOT need carbs for energy but not sure if I need them preworkout for muscle preservation.

Also, how big a deficit do you think this is for workout days?

    I am 6' 193 lbs and around 14-15% BF

50 minutes fasted cardio @ 140-150 BPM every morning, eveining 5x5 lifting routine for 35-40 minutes.

I lift 3 -4 times a week. I figure at 2400 calories is a good start, and I will increase cardio every 10 days until I reach a little over 1 hour.
