    Cold or Flu interupting a cycle, what to do?

    Well, this has happend to me before I ever used any aas and it usually messed up my gains. What should one do when they get sick during cycle to minimize the damage? Its bound to happen to a lot of people, being in the gym, lots of people around, etc. So what do you fella's do?

    Dependshwo sick and where you are at in the cycle. If its the first week you can stop and start over a later time. I wouldnt unless im very sick. Get allot of liquids in and some extra sleep, try to get back from this as fast as you can.

    Im sick right now wiht the end of a 3 week cold/flu and i started prop flu to boot. Sucks but im working through it.

    Good reply. Anyone else got any ideas or thoughts? Have aas affected the cold/flu, affected the recovery?
    Just seems like a good topic. AAS tend to make one feel motivated, anabolic well being, and ready to assault the weights, while cold/flu has the opposite effect. Have any of you found that aas might help you get over the cold faster or slow down recovery from an illness?
    I feel like shit from this cold, sore throat, and headache, and I am angry I can't get in the gym. In the past I tried to work out a little to minimize the losses and either it made me feel worse or it caused a rebound and I got sick again.

    yeah man deffenatly dont want to work out while being sick because working out weakens your immune system for sometime to try to repair the damage done to the muscles, this might cause longer time to get over the sickness. take lots of vitamin C and drink lots of fluids perferably warm tea with honey and lemon, avoid ice cream and ice water while being sick, that stuff will make it worse or slower healing.

    take lots of ***** 3, 6, 9 Fish Oil and Orderless garlic pills and you wont get sick through a cycle.....

    i would take some time off and make sure your still eating good.Eat your veggies drink fluids take ur meds... as soon as u get better get back in the gym. Hope u feel better soon.

    Yeah, I am at a university, use the gym here, and there has been some bugs floating around the school lately. Probably some sick dude in their trying to train and passed it on to us. Twould be good of me to stay home and not repeat the mistake and save someone the trouble of catching it.
