egg whites, sramble then mix into oats. Bulks it up nicely and you cant even taste them
You could also use steel cut oats. It's something like 8 grams of protein per 1/2 cup (i usually have at least a cup). It isn't gonna be your entire protein source, but still a good amount for oats. I usually throw in a little whey and eat eggs whites for breakfast. It doesn't necessarily have to be breakfast food, it could be anthing: chicken, ground turkey, tuna, ect
protein in oats is not a complete protein so you would need to add one.
While I wouldn't use oats as my only source of protein, there's nothing wrong with it. It contains 9 of 10 essential amino acids (not arginine which is more important for infants and adults).
protein (g) 13
histidine (mg) 310
isoleucine (mg) 932
leucine (mg) 585
lysine (mg) 538
methionine + cysteine (mg) 552
phenylalanine + tyrosine (mg) 1126
threonine (mg) 441
tryptophan (mg) 180
valine (mg) 719
"Plant protein can meet requirements when a variety of plant foods is consumed and energy needs are met. Research indicates that an assortment of plant foods eaten over the course of a day can provide all essential amino acids and ensure adequate nitrogen retention and use in healthy adults, thus complementary proteins do not need to be consumed at the same meal."

Ill give the egg whites a try. What shall i scramble them with water or milk.
nothing just scramble them in the microwave on there own.
Ive never done it before, how do you do it?
It's just like scrambling them normally except you don't add anything. If you cook them in the microwave, just cover them, and stop to stir maybe once. I prefer the stove, it seems to taste better and doesn't smell as bad. Maybe it's just me.
I just add some whey(flavored) into my oats with some eggs.
JUst put whites in a bowl, micro for 1 min then beat, micro for another minute then beat, then 30 secs, beat, 20 secs then beat until ready to the consistency you like
