If it has never happened before, it could very well be related. Even a week in, you are pobably carrying more water and are pushing more weight.

Depending upon what you are doing already, I'd suggest changing your rep scheme to 12-20 reps and increasing your time under tension by slowing your cadence. This will put less stress on your skeletal system and connective tissue and more on your muscles. It could actually get you to your goals quicker unless you are less a bodybuilder and more a strength athlete.

I wouldnt throw myself into bodybuilding category, just somewhere in the middle.. But thanks for the advice, will change up my training a little, add more reps and reduce weight, see how things go.. tnx =)
    Any supplements that might help?

I've used glucosamine, chrondroitin, all that crap. I don't think that it works well enough to even make the effort of picking up the bottle and swallowing the pills. But I have heard of some people that it worked for.

I think that water and a highly varied, nutritious diet are your best tools against joint pain.

It could also be related to stress, other drugs you are taking, sleep, etc.

I use them for my knee and they help. But the thing is y ou have to take them about 60 days before they really start to help.

Regular plain gelatin is great for joints too.

I guess it all depends on what is causing your joint pain. mine i a cartilage (sp?) issue from years of abuse to my body.

What is your cycle? Cycle Expirience? Weightlifting expirience?

Some compounds are known to dry up joints and cause pain.

If your weightlifting expirience is a problem, your strength could be increasing beyond the ability of your joints to handle the new weight your muscles can handle. Which all goes along with what Inherit was telling you. His advice was right on point if that is your problem.

    60 days :O :O
Cycle is 500mg test eth/week, same as first cycle.. this is 2nd cycle. Weightlifting experience.. erm, been lifting for 3 - 4 years i guess, ..using same weights i've used for last month but only just got the pain. I have lifted beyond what i am lifting now naturally but I had an operation that set me back a long way. So the shock shouldnt be a problem.. maybe overtraining? still only training muscle group 1 -2 x a week.. :S who knows.. will try all I can think of, might throw some deca on as I read the same thing about it storing fluid in the joints.. could work will just throw a low dose on maybe for 8 weeks or so, come off 2 weeks earlier than test? maybe 200mg/week, opinions?

Hmm, no I don't think that is right. THat doesn't sound right. Usually potasium is associated with muscle pain.

I could be wrong though. I know low potasium (hypokalemia) will cause muscle pain, I just don't know about the winny part.
