specifics of aromasin as apposed to nolva

I'm interested in knowing the specifics of aromasin as apposed to nolva. I've been advised to use both in a pct after completing a cycle of 500 mg's of test e a week. I would like to hear some other opinions/experiences on these two drugs and their affects in pct.

From my own research I have observed that aromasin and nolva do similar things. For example, they are both used in the treatment of breast cancer (although the aromasin is slightly stronger than the nolva), both reduce estrogen, increase testosterone levels, and both, as I have been informed, can be used together in a pct.

Now I understand that nolva is a serm and the aromasin is an AI, but logically it doesn’t seem accurate to use them together if they have similar affects. Thus can anyone inform me of the specifics of the aromasin as apposed to nolva, apart from the obvious explained in the forums and on steroid.com? Perhaps I have missed something here??

    Any help would be appreciated

bro all serms and Ai's can reduce estrogen and raise testosterone levels, that doesnt make them the same thing, nolva/toremifene/arimidex/letro/aromasin are all breast cancer medications. dont use more than 1 AI during pct, but you should have both serms+AI during the therapy.

Cheers bro I get it – I wasn’t disputing that they are the same thing I was just trying to understand the more specific qualities of aromasin. I understand the importance of nolva in pct, yet wanted to understand aromasin from a more systematic point of view. For example, I assumed that nolva reduced estrogen but have now discovered that it only blocks it, on the other hand aromasin successfully reduces estrogen by 85 percent, hence your recommendation. I didn’t know that before and I guess I needed clarification on the differences between the two to logically understand them in pct.

The problem for me was that others had suggested that nolva is sufficient in pct, especially with low doses of test e (500mg's). But after you mentioned aromasin, and, I did some more research, I discovered some other and very important positive qualities to it.

Hence another question, based on the afore mentioned qualities, would you recommend aromasin during a cycle to reduce estrogen? Or is it better to have some estrogen floating around.

    Appreciate your help bro

Aromasin is a very good AI to run during cycle, you will still have estrogen floating around even when you take it. estrogen is a very important hormone in the body that is needed, thats why i never recommend running letro unless someone really had to for gyno issues. so you can run it at a low dose with your test e and save some for pct to run along with your nolva.
