maybe they are feeling the movement just the way they doing it and are making great progress. did you ever think outside of your perspective and think about the other persons perspective? maybe they arent trying to one up you by using weight you cant but are making progress because they are doing things the way their body reacts.Originally Posted by MFT81
this isnt a flame. im a big proponant of trying to look at things from others perspectives. im sure there are many clowns at your gym who are using weight they obviously cant and f'ing this exercise up big time. but there are plenty of big dudes with alot of time in the gym who can use 60's, 70's, 80's, and up on this exercise and really grow from it.

The guys Ive kindly and tactfully pulled the the side and gave them tips really appreciated the advise ive given them and still use it today, since I dont lift in every gym that everyone on the board does id figure id post a vid that does an excellent job of explaining what the point of rear delt flys are......
If you are a big guy that uses 60's 70's or hell 120's than the video wont do you much good cause its nothing new to you just like it wasnt new to me. Still nice to add to the forum........
video is very informative. i relate to chris cookes method
Great video! There is also a great variation in Arnolds Encyclopedia that has him sitting on an old milk crate at the cable crossovers. I never got as good of a pump then I did with light weighted rear flys. As much as I like the hurky-jerky form I have when I do mine with 85lb dbells I may have to try this. hehehehe.
I seen this before great vid.
