Just finished the P90X 3 month course.
If you have a hard time staying in tune with your workouts or motivated,
then this is not for you.
It took me 1 month just to get in shape to do this!
But you will see the difference.
You workout everyday for at least an hour a day.
I change the workouts to fit what works for me.
I do cardio 3 times a week, then mix in biceps, chest, back triceps, and i also still bench press, and curls.
I dont do Yoga, so i threw that right out the window.
Also i use the ab lounger along with the ab ripper X program.
Best money i spent on the ab lounger.
(Get the black chair, not the blue one)
also i use the tower of power for abs and dips, chin ups. about $120 at any sporting goods store.
but overall it was the best workout i have done yet.
I started at ruffly 30+% body fat.
Iam now at around 15% body fat.
It is a tuff 3 months, Good Luck.
There are many times i did not want to workout, but pushed myself to doit.
I do recomend useing the bands with your weights to.
also if you need suport from there website, you have to pay for it.
It dose not come with the package. also dont get suck in buying all there powders, bars ect.
Peace out.
p90x is intense but will not build muscle like going to the gym... it will however be good for your core, balance, stability, flexibility and cardio. They are mostly to build strength and endurance not size. A lean look. If you are a bodybuilder there are things you can implement from the dvds to your regular workouts at the gym, but not build size. I'd recommend this program to those who are out of shape... or people wanting to get a good foundation before hitting the real weights. My 2 cents. I did like ab ripper x ... those were fun
My ex girlfriend got it and I use it every single day!!!
...Keeps the coffee table level
^--- hah!
You can build musle if you lift heavy and due 8/10 reps only for size.
this would apply for the bicep, tricep chest and back workouts.
But i do agree with (dwaynewade) You should use this for a good foundation to get you into shape.
I myself only use some of the workouts. and mix it with my weight training.
Just see what works for you.
Everyone is different.
Peace out.
ive only done standard weight lifting my entire workout career, i just did the first day off cus i downloaded it from a torrent site, the pace was far more intense than i usually do and could see the program as a good change of pace for a few weeks, but not a replacement of my regular program
is this the same fitness commercial you see on paid programming at like 3 in the morning, along with the herbalife and get rich quick commercials? i never paid too much mind to it. it looked interesting tho
