    Gear legal in UAE?

I can't find a definitive answer on this anywhere. Are steroids legal or tolerated in the UAE? I am seriously considering taking a job in Dubai. I would really like to get out of the states and go work overseas.

shit im going to Dubai this summer. A buddy of mine took a job there and loves it. Makes triple what he did here. Dubai is nice as hell too. As for the juice, you should call customs at the airport. Ill txt my buddy and see what he says.

Yeah I have been researching this move for a while now and I have made contact with a few companies. If serious job offer comes through I will be gone. I graduated form a good private university here in the states and have a degree in marketing with a minor in geopolitics. I have been debating whether to go to law school or make this move over to the UAE. I would be content with either Dubai or Abu Dhabi.

I have read that Dubai is actually a sh*thole. Basically, they are building at such a fast rate that the utilities like recycling and street cleaning cannot keep up and they have basically trashed the environment. However, if the pay is right I would go just about anywhere.

Its not a shithole but it is definitely overrated. People are saying its the Vegas of the middle east, but there is no gambling and its illegal to be drunk in public. Just like any arab country, the laws are no joke. The reason the crime rate is so low is because the penalties are so severe. I have no idea about AAS, but my guess would be that they are illegal. The place was just too gluttonous for my liking.

If AAS is illegal I definitely would not use because of the harsh penalties. I would just like to be somewhere tropical with a beach that has a strong economy.
California is Mexico and Miami is Cuba so I am looking abroad.

I was there and you can get regular medicationss like amoxil 500 without any prescription. If you know a pharmicist I dont think its that difficult to get the AS in Dubai.

juice is legal in the pharmacy there for dirt cheap, drugs are available, but prosecution is tougher than here.

Jobs arent as easy to find as I had previously thought. I have a B.S., Business Admin with and Emphasis in Marketing with a minor in Geopolitics ...started my Masters and I am having trouble lining anything up that looks somewhat promising.
    Anyone have advice?

Please don't think I'm trying to sound like a smart !@$, but the best advice I can give is to either do a second bachelor's degree in either accounting or finance or go on to earn a grad degree in accounting or finance.

A generalized business degree or a business degree in marketing is not going to lead to much of a job. I have a MBA and graduated with a 3.9 GPA. I'm having to go back now and completed a second BS in accounting just to further my career with the CPA designation.

I know someone who went to work in the UAE (electrical engineer working on their power grid) and though he loved the money and climate he won't be going back as a "non local", he was treated like crap.

He was telling me that as a non muslim in a secular muslim country in the eyes of the locals he was nothing more than a hired hand and was held in an even lower regard than some illeterate backstreet peddler.

Your mileage may vary, but you may want to get in touch with people who have been there and get a feel for the place.

I would think being in a Dubai prison would be, in comparison, like a Mexican prison to you Yanks. Here is a list of 374 illegal drugs including steroids!

Dubai is a fun place. All the Foreign National workers there lead to lots of partying and stuff that other ME areas frown upon- much like Bahrain..except no drunken Saudi religious police stumbling around groping russian sex workers! Good times!
