a friend needs your thoughts and prayers

after being assaulted last weekend a friend of mine is still in a coma today. after it happened he was rushed to KGH and had brain surgery performed for the next several hours, since then he was put in an induced coma and remains in it today. his name is ken, and is one of the sweetest guys you will ever meet. anyway, after a rough couple of days, things are back on a positive swing, but hes not through it yet. they were just now able to remove a drainage tube from his head so things are looking better, but he still needs all the help/support/prayers he can get. all im asking for is to take a look at this guy, consider what he/his family/his friends are going through, and say a little prayer, or positive thought, whatever it is you do. even if its just for 10 seconds, just send out a positive message.

well it was a friend of ours stag and doe on saturday, after all the bars close everyone pretty much migrates to a pizza place kind of in the middle of everything. and thats where drama usually happens. cliques collide, egos get out of hand and people fight over nothing. i had just left to get my car and came back, and he was already on the ground, the guy had already been arrested. apparently he(ken) had his hands up in a completely defensive position, not wanting to fight atall. the guy was mad because he got his shoes spat on by accident or something, drunken bullshit ya know..anyway out of no where the guy throws a punch, hits ken right on the button, and he falls head first onto the pavement. he was out before he hit the ground. when i walked onto the scene he was severely concussed, motor function out of control he couldnt speak or recognize anyone. the put him on a stretcher and took him to the hospital where it took over 4 hours to stabilize him. after they rushed him to kingston where he had extensive brain surgery and he has yet to come out of the coma. ile update whats happening as its posted on face book.
