Please Help!! Liver enzymes

I had my liver enzymes tested and I got the results back today. My ALT and AST was 4 times higher than what they were supposed to be. the normal is like 3-49 and mine were 256. I have not done any oral steroids in like 3 years and I had them tested a year ago and both were around 80. I just got anadrol 50 in and was going to start a 4 week cycle but i guess not now since my liver enzymes are so high. the only thing i am taking is test e @500mgs a week and tren e @200. I have like 8 cycles under my belt. Does injectable steroids make your liver enzymes that high cause last year i was on higher doses of test and tren and my enzymes were almost normal. Anybody have any suggestions and I guess i can't take my anadrol now can i?? Please help me i am so frustrated now!!

My ALT was a tad higher then normal, around 50 something, but that can be from many different things.

I'd be interested to hear what others have to say about your numbers........

yeah i dont know they are very high and I am so pissed cause i never took anadrol's before and just got 100 of them in and was going to run them for 4 weeks but I dont want to be on the liver transplant list after i am done. I didn't think that injectables put stress on the liver??

You should get tested for Hep C right away

im pretty sure that tren is liver toxic. some say its not tho. its one of the few injectables that is liver toxic IMO.

Tren blew my enzymes through the roof, had a liver sonagram. Thats why I always say you guys are going to regret your tren use. Also painkillers are terrible including ibuprofen.

So I guess I will cut the tren out for a while and then get retested and see how my levels are then. Thanks for alll of your help guys..

1. Do you drink alcohol? Stop if yes. what was your ratio of ALT to AST. Much higher AST usually indicates alcohol toxicity, whereas higher ALT is consistent with viral hepatitis.
2. The orals from 3yrs ago would have no continued effect, your liver enzymes should have normalized
3. Get tested for Hep C, Hep B ASAP.
4. Dont do any orals for a while, until at least liver enzymes renormalize
5. Tren - the literature is sparse and couldn't find anything on human populations but appears that Tren itself is minimally liver toxic - however it has been theorized that the relatively high Benzyl Alcohol present in some home brew preparations can be liver toxic if taken consecutively for a long period of time.
6. Tren also increases BP. Chronic BP elevation can result in NON-reversible kidney damage
7. The liver is a much more resilient and self repairing organ than the kidney. If given a rest, it will often heal itself unless pushed past the point of no return
8. Yes Ibuprofen can sometimes cause liver injury and cholestasis (gall stones or bile duct blockage) but Tylenol/Acetaminophen is FAR more likely to be liver toxic. Chronic daily usage of Ibuprofen or other NSAIDs can cause kidney damage.

I was tested for hep b and c and was negative. I don't drink alcohol. Last year my liver enzymes were slightly elevated like 80 i said and I was doing more injectables back then then i am now. I had surgery in April and was put on percocet and ibuprofen for a while along with an antibiotic because i had an infection. I am guessing that the tylenol did it in the percocet (even though i didn't take that many) did it. I didn't think that injectables messed with the liver. I just got my liver enzymes tested just to be safe before I started the anadrol 50's. Guess not now. Should I take some milk thistle and I have this stuff call Liver Longer. Thanks again for all your help i just want to bring them down asap for my health and so i can start the drols

I'd forget about the orals for a while.

Personally I've never liked them, but everyone is different. To harmful on your inners.

I dont think I will ever do orals of any kind again. Risk vs reward just not worth it to me. Injections only from now on. Good luck to you Musclehead, hope those levels come down. There are a few MD's that cruise the board, maybe one of them will chime in with some expert advice...nitro

thanks for all of your help and concern. I appreciate this website and its the best. I am just so disappointed, i wanted to try anadrol for the fist time and I definately have to wait on these liver enzymes to go down before i even think about doing them.

You should definitely go to the pharm. and get some milk thistle right away. Also flaxseed oil will help. Obviously you should discontinue intake of alcohol and tylenol/ibuprofen.

Agree with the milk thistle. no alcohol, no tylenol, no benzos...you do need to get worked up if they don't start coming down within the next 4 wks or so. You need more than just Hep B and C testing if you stay high. You'll need to see someone and get worked up.

Dude the LAST thing you want to do is mess with your liver.

I was taking a prescribed medication and after 6 months I developed flu like symptoms. I got so sick that I was bed ridden and had to have my wife help me to get out of bed to just go to the bathroom. While I was laying there praying that I would die I decided to check the PDR (physician desk reference) and sure as shit the medication I was prescribed was known to elevate your liver enzymes. My wife rushed me to the emergency room and my sgot sgpt enzymes which were supposed be between 35-40 were up to 400. The emergency room Dr told me there wasn't anything he could do and to stop taking the medication and my liver enzymes would come down on their own, it took a month but they did come down.

If you start to feel a dull pain in the right side of you abdomen behind the seventh rib and you develop flu like symptoms get your azz to the Dr, like I said your liver isn't something you mess with.
