    Liquid Breakfest?

    I work 12 hours a day, 6 days a week most of the time and I have to get at like 5ish to cook my 4 egg whites, make my half a cup of oatmeal and 1-2 slices of whole wheat bread.

    Is it alright to just throw a scoop of whey, 4 egg whites and oatmeal in the blender and have a few slices of toast with peanut butter, it would allow me to sleep in more.

    Im trying to bulk up and thats the hardest meal to get in me I find.

    Is that healthy to do, eat raw egg whites?
    Do you still get all the nutrients if you dont cook the eggs or oatmeal?

    Thoughts?

    I wouldn't eat raw eggs, that's because I have had salmonella poisoning and never want it again. A very good quick breakfast for me is 2 scoops of whey, and a half cup of oatmeal in the blender. See if that works for you

    I use eggbeaters eggwhites which are salmonella free in my first and last shakes of the day.

    i just drink eggbeaters egg whites straight from the carton 2-3x a day, and you can hardly taste them if they are cold, same consistency as water

    egg beaters are the way to go for egg protein if you're in a hurry or need more sleep... like Phate said, they're not that bad straight out of the carton

    Yeah the out of the box technique is the other way! THere really is no difference in the taste when mixed, but out of the carton is just fine as well. Taste in not an issue.

    They taste ugh, the consistancy just feels weird and makes me reach ;(

    dang i've tried both! until a threw up and decided it wasnt worth it. fyi i know mousetraps said he had salmonella poisoning but its like a 1 in 20,000 chance of getting it i believe.

    I drink egg whites every once and a while as well...only problem is i get HORRIBLY gas from them. Im talking killing everyone in the room, melting the paint off the walls and destroying the foundation type gas. NASTY!

    If i do decide to drink egg whites (even tho you dont get the full amount of protein than when they are cooked) its before bed with a scoop of caesin.

    For me its not about the taste anymore, I just block it out of my mind and eat what needs to be eaten. I dont know if thats a good thing or bad.
    I make my egg whites the night before and just put them in the fridge, then in the morning I eat them with the rest of the goodies.

    Just plug your nose and down the hatch! Cooking them the night before works too as mentioned... Man up!
