Smile Pre contest load double edge sword.

When using trial and error to give everything a chance to see what will work for your own needs is something very difficult.Difficult in a sense that you can work your ass off and feeling unsure in the trial of what your doing to reach your goal but you have to see it through to remove any doubt there was a chance it might have worked. The traditional 3 day carb load was not for me.My best condition was August 2nd the last high fat day,I was the hardest and most ripped I've ever been, but in no way was I in contest shape. When people give compliments on how you look they really have no idea what real contest condition looks like so I try not to respond with anything more then thanks. Now what I've learned is many things most of note for my own genetic pre programming is that I'm extremely carb sensitive. After the first day of the Mike xxxl carb, fat, water load I was terribly unsure but I had to see it through.I know I can get my condition back in less then 7 days and try what I feel works from what I know about myself from my own experience but I had to try this even know it goes against my #1 rule "there's no X amount of carbs fats water or time you can give anybody to do anything in regards to there body for there specific goals and needs".This was research that MikeXXL did it had sound reasoning and I felt if this is how the pro's suggest to do this I gotta try it once. After 3 days of it today being day 4 I knew it was a mistake but now I know and that's the discipline to try things and learn that you'll never truly know your body until you give everything that has worked in the past for bbr's a chance. What I should've done after seeing how successful my high fat days were would be to have 1 high fat day coming from lean beef and the following morning do everything the same as it's been with my morning oats and half the amount of egg whites for the sake of stomach distention and eat a lot of bing cherries before the stage or a photo shoot, those natural sugars made my abs look like rocks and a lot bigger and vascular as well. There was actually another time I feel I peaked also WEEK 14 I was doing 45 min 3x a day of cardio at which point I had veins in my back veins crossing my chest and carbs were extremely low.Which tells me that had I did a high fat day with no carbs then the following day my normal breakfast with half my egg whites and 1 cup of oats followed by the load of bing cherries I would've been at my peak. This was a success in my eyes I learned more from this experience then any book or any so called guru could ever possibly tell me about how my body works

Thanks buddy.I'm really considering jumping rite back into cutting for another 4 weeks to see how my own pre contest goes.I'm on vacation all week and my sons with me so I'll probably just hold off until next Monday.I'm too focused at this point and too close to peeling the skin off and exposing my best condition.I guess a week off could only help at this point.

Thanks,Yes no date. The diet changed a couple times but one thing is clear the cardio made all the difference.I was at my best when I was doing 3 sessions a day at 45min each, sometimes 60 before bed as my third session.

    Thanks.
Look up my profile and research my posts from March 27th to present. To sum it up the first 10 weeks had a lot of carbs what I consider alot. The last 14 weeks carbs were typically 1 cup of oats in the morning and that was it for the day.

Thanks.I took the month of August off yes I did need it.I'm up to 195 and hating my condition. But I needed the break.Nervous system, chemical messengers and my attitude needed a break.I'm not the guy who can bulk and be happy with being bigger.I'm addicted to being peeled to the bone and testing myself.I'm dieting and doing cardio again to get the ball rolling without putting on too much fat.The next break I'm gonna take will be Thanksgiving,at which point I'd like to just maintain a 170ish 6-8%bf until the next project I figure out comes to me.Most likely getting my lower abdomen skin drum tight.Which will crazy lean for me.

Damn dude - that's awseome! and you keep your heart rate at something ridiculously low like 120? I gotta get rid of these fukkin Love handles and lipo is too expensive...plus seems like a ***** way to get rid of a gut.

edit: just took another look at those pics in post #8 - fukkin unbelievable vascularity!!! You are not human, bro! ;-)

I went under calorie maintanance towards the end.I was eating 1 cup of oats with my first meal with 12 egg whites.Every other meal was either 1 talopia fillet with asparagus or boneless chicken broccoli or 85%lean beef and broccoli.Which is no doubt a lot lower in cals then the first 10 weeks. The diet changed a lot really to see how my body reacted to the change up while I was so lean. The most effective would've been the diet I had just explained with the 3 cardio sessions 45 MIN Am cardio before first meal PWO Cardio and then 45 min before bed.

My next cutter will look like this.

    Meal #1
    12 egg whites
    1 cup of oats.
    1/2 oz raisons

    Meal #2
    2 talopia fillet's
    7 asparagus spears

    Meal #3
    6oz boneless chicken breast
    2 cups of broccoli

    Meal #4
    2 talopia fillet's
    7asparagus spears

    Train
    PWO
    Meal #5
    6oz boneless chicken breast
    1 bannanna

    Meal #6
    4oz boneless chicken breast
    couple asparagus spears.

With cardio I provided at the top.

Pre contest load, shit load before photo shoot or stage.Basically keep everything the same until 2 hours before I hit the shoot or stage.

    Rice cakes
    Bing Cherry's
    Lean beef
    Almond butter.

I found the best way is the frying pan.pre heat the pan medium heat 3 min each side until good crispy texture.9 min is good for me.
