    5/8 25g for Quads

Yesterday was my first quad injection, i was a complete ***** with needles before, hitting a nerve in my shoulder and passing out so it left me mentally scared.

I used a 5/8 and i can safely say, it was the easiest thing ive done.. im now looking forward to my shot on wed! never thought id be saying that..

I use 1" for quads, 5/8" is too short imo.

    I would use 3/4 or 1 '' for best injection, best would probably be a 23g x 1'' needle

25g for quads is weak, you would only want to use this gauge for something small like deltoids, you need deep IM to get the shiz working.

I HATE needles and use 25g but even I think 5/8 is a little short. I have used a couple only because I was out of my others. I use 1in for quads.

I would go one inch personally.... You aren't putting that whole needle into you are you? I try to keep a little out for one of those Just in case momments. I've heard of people snapping and shit and going to the ER. not me though... Ill leave a little out. Hence me thinking 5/8 is too small as well.... 1inch works fine dude.

Dont say that. I usually even make sure the 1 in is buried deep but I dont put any undue pressure on it and if I feel I am to tense I even let go for a sec to make sure I'm not tweaking anything wrong.

    I have 1.25inch 23g needles....

I can get 24g 1inch or 25g 1inch also as my mum is a nurse.

Do you think i should stick to the 23g 1.25inch or one of the anothers???

what would the gauge have to do with how deep you inject? I use 25ga for all injections.

the virgin muscle is kicking me, feels like a train has hit my leg today. my cardio is going to suffer first couple of shots until the muscle adapts, no lump redness or swelling, just stiff

why scared? i found the injection fine... didnt even feel it atall, i previously done a delt jab with a 1.25 23g and it killed, went in to far and hit nervs and blacked out.

5/8 are fine IMO, perfect for quads with low bf.

well the story goes : didnt tell my mrs about my gear.. she was asleep so i went to the end of the bed got set up, 20minutes later got my act together stuck it in and hit something, started having some sort of fit and blacked out, mrs woke up and was like WHAT THE FECK!!!..... i was out cold for half a minute with the syringe hanging out of my arm

musta look like a druggy getting a hit.

Ye im with u on the shorter needles for quads, dont no if ill try delts again after that

    I like 1" 25g for quads.

25g forces you to inject slower.

As far as the needle breaking off, I have heard stories but I don't see how. Have you guys ever tried breaking a needle off the end of a syringe? It takes a huge amount of force. I guess a defect could be present that would allow it to snap easier.

Quads are great. They're right in front of you and you don't have to get in a weird position. You can use lower, upper, and middle too.

I'm so sorry, but that is some funny stuff right there! I can just picture the whole scene in my head. So how did the conversation with the Mrs. go after that whole ordeal?
