    Black specs inside 'sterile' vial?

I had some 'sterile' vials laying around and decided to transfer some test into them. I realized about 8 ml's in that there were a few black specs stuck to the inside of the glass. I tried to remove the test to put into another vial but one of the specs broke free and got mixed in. So needless to say it's good as garbage because I have no idea wtf that black spec is. After I emptied the bottle I took a needle and poked one of the specs, it was hard and almost fused to the inner wall. Anyone know what these black specs could be?

My issue isn't really the vial, it cost me all of a couple bucks but the test that it ruined is my main concern.

Sounds like a small piece of the rubber stopper.

You can't use it, due to the fact that, if there are pieces of this that you can see, then most likely there are pieces you can't see.

Don't want to pin that into you.

    Good catch bro.

    Forget that those things exist.

Never had a reason to use them.

the rubber was def there before I started using it, just because the first piece I noticed was still in the dry area right up top.
I actually thought about using a whatman filter, sadly I did it after I tried to remove one of the pieces by sucking it up and spitting it out into the sink.
    1.5ml test e rip =(
