For the past couple injections, I have been pulling 1ml of winny with an 18g needle and before injection replacing it with a 23g needle. I am also shaking the shit out of the bottle before pulling as well.

For the last few injections the syringe will get plugged either a quarter of the way through or half way. If you try enough force it will come through but now there have been several times where the pressure was so great the winny leaked out the back of the syringe.

So I am now pulling with the 23g needle but it takes almost 15 minutes to fill 1ml. I am also seeing more sediment now as the bottle gets lower.

I have used winny before with a 23g, different brand but I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

Is it the gear or should I move to a 21g?
