ey everyone,
I'm one step closer to my first cycle. Really excited about it and as I'm getting ready to provide my credit card information to someone I've only spoken with via e-mail, it dawned on me...who is my doctor?
I won't mention any names or anything but, being as this is my first time I'm wondering if I'm getting scammed.
I've been dealing with a clinic in Florida. Found them on the web, sent an e-mail and they explained their program. Part of it was getting a physical and blood work done. They could even send someone out to visit me and do the exam. From those results, they would have a doctor recommend a program for me. Low test, at my age (41), being the their main concern and focus.
Long story short, I already had blood work from tests my Endo did on me. I asked if these results would be usable for me to bypass their physical and blood fees. They said yes and, after faxing copies and signing their wavers, within a couple of hours I had a program spelled out for me.
During all of this, I've never once been told who the doctor is that's recommending this cycle. I have not been given an official prescription. I've only been dealing with the initial rep that contacted me when I send an e-mail inquiring about their service.
Is this standard? Is it the norm, or should I be worried? I did ask if they were licensed by the state of Florida which they said they are AND their doctors are licensed in all 50 states. However, is still wonder....who is my doctor?
If anyone has any information about these clinics and if what I'm going through is the "norm", would you please let me know.
Thanks in advance for your advice.
