Desperately need help / advice - absolute 100% novice.

I am a regular gym-goer who has finally decided to bite the bullet and start using steroids.

This is largely because I've found someone I trust who is both a user and a good source of advice (I hope)!

I don't really have any specific goals as such at this time, I merely wish to start using steroids for a short period of time (I've settled on 12 weeks) to "see how it goes".

Based on discussions with my friend, I've decided to inject 1ml of testosterone enanthate once per week for 12 weeks.

    My questions then, are these:

    1) Is this a relatively "easy" entry to using (I do want it to be)?
    2) Are there any issues with taking this that specifically relate to the liver or white blood cell count - I am on OTHER medically prescribed medications that affect these already.

I can't talk to my doctor about this, as a medico is legally forced to report anyone who wishes to even DISCUSS steroids with them to the authorities.

Once again, thanks for reading (bigger thanks if you've answered) and forgive me if I've broken some sort of rule here. :-) I know most of the information I am after is probably available here in some places, but as I'm so new to all this, everything is quite overwhelming.

    1) I go 5 times per week, so that's OK.
    2) Yes, enanthate is 250mg/1ml dose.
    3) I am on methotrexate (15mg per week) and leflunomide (20mg per day) for the treatment of psoriatic arthritis. Both cause liver "issues" (sorry, I can't be more specific) and low white cell count. I have tests for these every 4 weeks and the results are showing "issues" but I'm still within satisfactory limits.

    Thanks again.

Sure, thanks for the feedback, Im just scared giving any advice with your other meds becasue i dont have much knowledge regarding that. But what i can tell you is that you will need to up the dose to atleast 500mg/week with your weight. I doubt that u will be able to get noticable gains fro 250mg/week... But with this u would also need a decent diet. Just keep bumping your thread, someone with more knowledge would chime in and give u more accurate advice.

And do yourself a favour, keep reading.... Ull benefit a hell of a lot.

Inject 250mgs twice a week, 3.5 days apart.

I can't help with those other meds either. Sorry.

I agree with EL on this one not knowing about the meds you are on and how steroids will effect those meds is not a good thing, giving advice before we know is a bad idea as its your health were messing with and none of us want to put you at any risk

What is Medico? What country is it in? Just so I know to avoid it.

I didn't realise there was ever any country where the doctor was legally obligated to report stuff such as steroid use, it will make me think twice about visiting doctors who work out of foreign embassies!

I say you should stay away from AAS for now. At 18%bf you need to do cardio and see a proper dietitian to adjust your diet based on your current liver issues and meds and goal. Reduce your bodyfat to under 14% with diet and training/cardio first.

Get fit first, adjust your diet then think of AAS. IMO.

Why are you going to start sticking a needle in your body if you don't even have any "goals" in mind?

i think your rushing into things, steroids arnt a walk in the park , i was on here over a year before i pinned.

you need a goal otherwise you aren't going to reep many rewards

i think you should just go natural , you already have arthritis problems do some research before u start injecting something into yourself man!.

I didn't say I don't have any goals, I said I don't have any "specific goals" (i.e., I am not looking at gaining X lbs of muscle or Y inch arms).

If I have to be more explicit, my "goal" as such would be to start using steroids in a way that gives me some comfort in their safety whilst also giving me enough gains to see their positive benefits.

Given my health issues, I feel I need a little more comfort than the "average person" in using AAS.

Cool. I guess that's a big part of the reason I'm here - to find out what sort of contraindications I can expect from testosterone enanthate with methotrexate and leflunomide.

I live in XXX, Australia. My gut feeling is that very few doctors take this requirement seriously. If I discussed this with my doctor, he MIGHT well be happy to discuss it with me. I can't take the chance, however. I work in criminal justice and if he DID choose to report me, the terms of my employment contract dictate I would be subject to instant dismissal for engaging in illegal activity.

I wonder if it's possible to ask the following question without getting into trouble:

I'm doing a study and I would like some information. Are there any medications or drugs, illegal or otherwise, that if I mention them here, you will be legally obligated to inform the police, insurance companies, or anyone else at all for that matter?

If he says "Yes", next question would be:

Can you specify which particular medications or drugs, illegal or otherwise, you'd have to squeal about?

If he says "No" to this, then I'd just leave without paying (although that can be a little tricky in an embassy with gates and armed guards :P)

If he says No to the first question, or if he doesn't mention steroids in the second question, I'd start telling him about the juice.

I'm in a part of the world where the only good doctors are inside foreign embassies, so I'd be wise to figure out beforehand if they're gonna squeal on me. The local doctors here have trouble with First Aid, let alone doing blood tests.

I've actually started to think about how I could do this. I've decided to suggest to my rheumatologist that I am thinking of testosterone replacement therapy and would appreciate HIS advice on it (moreso than the anti-aging doctor) as he's the specialist.

If his advice is that it should be OK, I'll be pretty comfortable.
