I personally dont care for glute injections (no real reason why). Quads are very easy to inject, and the outer muscle head on Biceps is easy too. Its going to come down to personal preference. You will have to try out different areas to find which ones you like the best.
On quads I will use 1" pins, Biceps I use 5/8. Also, I assume when you inject your delts, you are pinning in the center of your delt (middle muscle head), but remember, you have 3 muscle heads available on your delts, your inner (closest to your pecs) and outer (closest to your back) which you can also inject into.
