I wouldnt think so...depends on how much hypertrophy you would induce IMO... Isnt swimming an aerobic activity? I dunno, i would think it would the same as cardio...just a bit more do to the resistance of the water but i wouldnt count on getting bigger just from swimming.
I like to swim and its hard as sh*t. IMO your cardiovaso system would be strong, core, every thing would get stronger. To a certain point, your body would adapt to the training then gains would probobly slow or halt. Then you would have to increase work load to continue growth.
