But it has made me think.. Why?

Why do you guys do it?

Why use nitrous when racing? For me to start with it was to get that edge. To meet my goals quicker. Not to mention the compliments at the pool in the summer are nice.

A better question might be, "Why don't you train?".

I've trained in some manner all of my life. Weight lifting has always been my favorite, but there was a time when I put the weights away and enjoyed long distance running. I got my body weight down to 170 and ran many 5k races and ultimately a 25k. Being in shape makes you feel better physically and mentally. I feel much younger then my actual age. There are more reasons then I have time to bring up why someone would want to be fit. How many legitimate reasons are there not to?

    The list is simple...
    1-Vanity
    2-Strength
3-Performance (speed, agility, fast twitch muscles)
4-Confidence and sense of well being
    5-The sex drive is insane

Just wanna be big..... I understand some people could give a shit less about being big and they might be into strength training or cardio vascular health..... Not me..... I just wanna be big and lean.....

I don't just wanna be that guy that people look at and go "He looks good" I wanna be the guy that people say "Holy shit..... wish I looked like that......"

Well it started off because I wanted to be a great football player and I wanted to be known as the biggest, freakiest, most athletic linebacker I could be. After my football career ended, I wanted to prove to everyone I was still a big, freaky, athlete, that is why I got into powerlifting and strongman after I finished football. I've always been big and muscular, so it was just a natural evolution for me.

I have to pretty much agree with the above. That is also why I LOVE traveling to the Philippines. I am in pretty good shape but not a body builder by any means but I am treated like Mr. Universe there (Vanity) the girls just LOVE it. I love to watch their expression when I hook up and take off my shift for the first time; Jaw hits the floor, then walk over to me and start to feel my chest, stomach and arms.

Then of course when we finally get into bed and we get down to business it starts all over again, Jaw, etc.

This is my first ever post after YEARS of just watching and learning from this forum. I've been watching since literally 2002-03 but never got around to making a username/login shit. I was 18ish at the time and thank god for my sex life i learned not to juice at that age. This is my first post and i just jabbed myself for the first time about 15 minutes ago, I.E. age 26, a month away from 27 now. Apparently i found this forum when it was just forming, but i've been looking off and on for about 7-8years. Ill introduce myself soon but i saw this post and just had to finally post after years of just absorbing knowledge from countless people. Every one of you can laugh at me for my reason to start working out hardcore/interest in gear because of 1 THING. DBZ. DRAGONBALL Z. HAHAHAHAHAhA. I still laugh at myself but at the age of about 12-13 this was the perfect image of what i wanted to look like someday. Granted its a cartoon, but god damn..... just look at this and youll see the reason i started working out hardcore.. http://images.myfavoritegames.com/ga...vie08_1456.jpg

I can think of a few reasons as to why I started and why I continue. The reason I started was because I had some aggression built up, I always had a temper and could never back it up. Now, about 30 lbs heavier, i'm as calm as can be with no more attitude PLUS it's a nice feeling when you are walking through a crowded bar and people willingly insist to move out of the way for you.

There is a decent amount of fear and respect involved.

I started training because I never wanted to be in a situation where i could not protect myself and love ones. i am 5-6 so i am not getting any taller felt i needed to put on size.

You never know what life is going to throw at you but if i was cornered by some people and i was with my girl, i would want to know that i did everything i could until that point to give me the best possible outcome to protect myself and her.
    Strength and honor.
