New here but not to working out

Hello to all, i been working out off and on since i was a young kid, i have type1 diabetes so it makes gaining very difficult, iv tried all different kinds of supplements and spent alot of money on them but after a while and following a good diet and rest and different workouts it gets to be disappointing as i would like to see results on myself, im 39 and weigh 170lbs and enjoy working out but i always come to a halt on my strength and growth, im not trying to be like the hulk but i would like to weigh atleast 190-200lbs if possible, i accidently came upon this site and looks like alot of good info, i never tried steriods or dont even know how or who to go to get them, my Dr. a couple of years ago did a hormone test and my growth hormone was low and my testastrone was low so he put me on a growth hormone injection and testastrone compound, it helped some but not enough to brag about, My big question is What can i try, get, and do to get results? i see the adds for the anablic steriods but are they any good, im tired of spending money on a product that minimumly works, at one time i used the On cycle and Off cycle by Fizogen it worked pretty good but its not available or has changed cuz of the laws, Anyone here give me advise P.M. me if you need to Thanks.to all you out there.

my diabetes makes me keep my diet strict to keep my glucose at a staedy as close to normal rate as i can, i eat 5-6 meals per day consist of lfruit as much veggies as i can eat, low starch veggies, high starch such as potatoes and rice are my enemies, very lean meats and fish, once in a while sugar free ice cream or cookies, i hate high blood sugar levels so i watch what i eat. im 5'9in tall
