I was just drawing up some bac water with a 2ml syringe and 1 1/4" blue to reconstitute my bedtime shot of GH when I dropped the syringe - I instinctively went to catch it and somehow speared my thumb right through the fleshy part - needle coming out the other side and everything!

Yup - pulled it straight out - it hardly bled at all.

I then wished I'd have taken a picture for the boys but stopped short of a reconstruction!

I feel your pain I once shot a 3" nail through my left index finger via nail gun. Granted it only penetrated 2'1/4" but it hurt like hell.
