    Cutting bodyfat

    Hey, I wanted to know if there was a way to cut body fat without losing muscle mass? I always hear of how you lose muscle in your sleep, when you jog in the morning, ect.. it makes me never wanna cut if I'm gonna lose what few muscles I've managed to build up to this point, but I want to eventually cut some body fat.

    Right now I'm at 15% bodyfat and I am at 170 pounds. I'm 22, and my body type is mesomorph.

    I was thinking of maybe adding a 20-30 minute jogging session before breakfast while I'm doing my bulking period right now, and see if I could cut some extra fat as I build muscle, but that seems impossible.

    diet bro, post up your diet in the diet section, diet is where it matters most

    well, I am currently doing a bulking diet, cause I wan't to gain and be at at least 190-200 pounds. I posted my bulking diet in the diet section if you wanna check it out

    If ur trying to gain weight then ur not gonna loose BF wihout a lot of 'help' IMO

    U need to decide what u wanna do

    Generally the leaner u are the bigger u look anyway

    Depending on how lean u wanna get you should nkt loose a drastic amount of LBM anyway

    thanks for the help dudes. I don't really wanna get super lean, just lean enough so my muscles get a bit defined after I finish my bulking cycle. My ideal will be to drop about 10 pounds of fat after I hit 190-200 pounds on my bulking cycle.

    Just wanted to know if cutting made you lose a lot of muscle like I keep hearing. I hear people say if you cut say goodbye to your muscles, and that sucks lol.

    You've got it all wrong bro. Muscles are repaired during sleep. You spend the day working out and breaking down your muscles. While you sleep your muscles repair themselves and grow bigger so they can handle the added stress. Take some aminos before running If you are worried about muscle loss or even a small scoop of whey. Just limit fat/carbs before cardio.
