    BF estamate....friend needs to know if his stats sound about right

    he says he's 217@7%BF....i dont see it. maybe its just me. what do yall think?

    thats closer to what i said. i told him 12-14% and he just kinda shook his head. he's 7 weeks out and says he wants to be 3% by the contest.....i dont see it happening.

    Definitely 10% plus. No offense to your friend, but he's a moron. At 3% he'd be pretty close to dead. Bodybuilders rarely get under 5% for competitions. Don't get me wrong, he looks pretty good - idk about any competitions though. He needs to set a realistic goal and reach it.

    For him to be in contest condition he needs to be stepping on stage right around 190lbs. I would peg him at 12-13% bodyfat right now. According to his logic he will be 209lbs (8lbs lighter) @ 3% assuming he holds his lean. Trust me, its gonna take 8lbs off him just to get his abs showing.

    hes the exact same weight as me.im 5'9 at 12% bf and his arms are small .theres no way hes at 7% we have the same stomach.

    He perceived BF% really isnt that important, what is important is he is 7 weeks out with a 12-14 week out look. If he is going to have any chance of being contest ready in 7 weeks he needs to aggressively start burning bodyfat.

    besides what has already been said...i think he looks too unbalanced. he chest is too big for his arms,his front delt is far out grown his center and rear delts,....hes got "alright" sized legs...but...well...*shakes head*..i guess they would fit *holds hands up and shrugs shoulders*....for his size they are about right,anyway.
