All you can do is heat it and massage it. I find going to the jacuzzi helps a bit (at least temporarily). Ibuprofen might also help with inflammation.

Elevate your knee. Maybe you have an infection. How close to the knee in your quad did you inject?

Hey buddy you didnt hit a nerve, you shot in between muscles and the oil traveled down and build up above the knee. It will heal it just takes sometime for the oil to disperse. Best thing to do is try to stay off of it and use a heating pad. Put heat on for 20 min and the slowly bend your leg a few times, continue this a few times. takes about 3-7 days. goodluck

Thanks that's what I have been doing after work but it isn't getting any better. I am taking off a few days and will attempt to stay off it. Its really hard though. I pinned Sunday so hopefully it will be better soon.
I followed the procedure from spot injection. I thought I had It rite. I've pinned my delta 100 times with no Probs. Thanks for the advice will keep y'all posted

One more question. If I did in fact pin between muscles will it still do it's job or was it a waisted inject?

It could have been a training injury too man. Never know.

Do you warm up well before hitting squats? I had a knee injury from not doing proper warm-ups. Hurt like a bitch and I wore a brace for a bit to help deal with the pressure from work.

I've had several experiences with this.
The oil came back out of the muscle and was trapped between the muscle and its sheath, where gravity then caused it to travel downward. It got trapped at the bottom of the myofascial sheath (by your knee) and crashed there, causing massive pain and inflammation. It takes about a week to clear up.
Just ice it to reduce inflammation and take some pain killers.

Next time, inject slower and deeper. And DO NOT rub the injection site hard afterward, as this will force the oil back out.
