    Hi, not a user :)

    Hi all,

I'm new (obviously) and what brought me here was a friend was discussing with me that he might try Sustanon250, as he has access to it. This got me interested and i've started to research a little. Thankfully, i think, i have put him off trying it until at least he knows more about it, how to cycle it etc. From what i've read, his real problem is that he doesn't have access to any of the other stuff that seems important (the pre/post cycle stuff).

I'm here because i'm 35 and while i'm in good shape (reasonably fit and healthy), it's frustrating being somewhat stuck at my weight. I don't want to be huge, just another 5+ kg would be nice - putting me over 80kg. Honestly, i thought (for the first time) - maybe i should consider it. I want my wife to be able to 'show me off'. I don't have that confidence right now, despite many years of gymming.

But, i'm not in 'the crowd'. I don't go to a popular gym and don't know anyone who uses steroids. I wouldn't know how to get it, and the other stuff that seems so important. I'd be ok with something that isn't steroids, but pretty much anything effective appears banned in Australia.

So, i've come here to poke around to see what i can learn. Really though, the more i read about it, the less likely i feel i will use anything i can't buy at the health food shop (and here that is not much). It's complicated, and without all the PCTs etc it seems to be an effort too great and perhaps too risky.

My only question in this introduction: The friend i spoke of said he was going to try the Sustanon250 at 250mg (ml?) for 4 weeks (too short i read). I've read wildly different claims on that amount, from "it will likely do nothing" and "may give you nothing but the side effects" to "you can put on 7-8kg" and "no likely side effects". That's a pretty big variance. Opinions?

Thanks all, like i said, i'll probably quickly come to the conclusion that steroids aren't for me, mainly because it's scary (what advice to trust?) and it's very hard to get the actual stuff. I still plan to learn about it.

    Cheers

Welcome....Be careful, some people would say you might be fishing for a source and that's not allowed on open forum. As for the sust usage, 4 weeks isn't long enough. 10 weeks minimum, 12 weeks preferred. PCT is a must.
Maybe you just need to work on diet and training?
    Good Luck

Yes 4 weeks is way too short. Although some would say 6 weeks minimum I would not bother doing less than 10. Make sure you do loads of research before deciding on something. I also think you might want to start with your diet, get that straight then start hitting the gym again and getting in good shape and then decide if you need something extra.

    Hi stpete!

Not my intention to fish, i would be equally suspicious. Apologies if it read so.

I've worked on my training and diet for a while, i don't count kjs but i have gotten to know how much food i need depending on what i'm doing. I eat clean and well, essentially no junk - no processed foods. I've recently cut back my sets/reps a bit to focus on strength for a while. But you're right - one always needs to think about what they're doing.

Thanks for the confirmation about the duration, what about the amount and side affects at that amount? Or should i begin a post elsewhere? I have looked around, but i admit i haven't extensively searched the forum.

I haven't stopped hitting the gym Sometimes i think i'm not eating enough (i always eat quality), but when i add too much i obviously start to put on the wrong weight I think i have it about right these days, the last two years have been ok, considering i'm so old

My parents are both very slim, and i was once 5'10" 66kg (!). I now hover around the 75-78 kg mark.

Actually, the 3 things that have most improved my results in that two years has been:
    - Milk (during the workout)
    - Creatine
    - WPI+carb protein powder.

For years i only used WPI and when i switched i found it helped - i guess i needed the extra carbs.

    Thanks for the welcome Zackery!

My apologies to all, i see that i have broken a rule with my first post: a question about steroids in the intro forum.

My bad, whoops. :/ I'll argue that it's wrapped in the reason i decided to join the forum. ...and slink away and ask elsewhere.
