I'm going to try to make this as detailed as possible because I keep trying to look up threads about my questions but no one gives sufficient data for people to give them advice with.
so, I'm female, 5', 107 lbs. 22 years old and I have been bulking for the past 2.5 months and I want to continue bulking for the first 4 weeks on anavar, then spend the last 6 weeks cutting. I have been lifting for over two years and have gone through successful bulk/cut cycles, but I am now wanting to start preparing myself to compete in the future so I decided to start Anavar at 10mg/day. 5 am, 5 pm.
diet: 6 meals a day, 1700-2000 calories 160-180g carbs, 150-170g protein, 40-60g fats (typical day):
meal 1:
1 c. egg whites
1/2 c. oats
1 slice FF swiss cheese
meal 2:
met-rx protein bar
meal 3:
special k protein plus cereal
6 oz. plain greek yogurt
14 almonds
meal 4:
5 oz. grilled chicken
2 tbsp. FF cream cheese
-some type of carb: 1/2 c. pasta, 1/2 c. rice or a couple plain rice cakes
meal 5:
6 oz. salmon
1 cup veggies
meal 6:
3/4 c. egg whites
1 slice FF cheese
2 rice cakes
thats my day give or take, I believe in IIFYM so sometimes ill slip some more "dirty" foods into there if i can fit it/am really active that day. I just think my calories/macros are more important that the actual source I get said macros.
training goes as follows:
6-7 days/week, 45-90 minute sessions of heavy weight training. (compound lifts, drop sets, free weights)
No cardio
I work at a fast paced restaurant 4 days/week where I am literally walking fast/running(lol) for 5 hours so I dont feel cardio is such a big deal for me.
My questions:
- I was taking DHEA before I started Anavar and it really was helping with metabolism, strength, growth etc., can I take DHEA and Anavar at the same time? Or will they effect each other?
- should I eat a specific diet while on Anavar? Like low carb/low fat? Also, what modifications should i make to my diet; does anavar make your metabolism faster/slower?
-I have been on anavar for 5 days already and i've jumped from 107-109 eating the same diet I usually do, is this water weight?
- When should I be expecting to see certain results?
