Max 14d only if refrigerated. Non refrigerated max viability is 3-4d.

Bacstat is the way to go.

I used to keep it around 30-40d. After speaking with three people in healthcare they recommended optimal storage was 14d and begins degrading thereafter. Still good up to 30d but efficacy degrades at 14d forward (again the opinion of healthcare professionals but I'd like to hear what a pharmacist's opinion is). Bacstat is a better "antibacterial" than sterile H2O but I know plenty of guys using sterile H2O with no probs.

My doctor and pharm vial say 30 days. I use it for longer.

You can use a pregnancy test to see if it is still active. Believe it or not, all a pregnancy test does is test for HCG in women's urine. Do NOT pee on the test, drop some of you HCG on it.
