    Thumbs up Vince Gironda 8X8 for rehab

    I am going to try this workout you don't get to lift that heavy and i feel it could be good for rehab.

    Anyone ever did it? last time i did i build a pretty good physique.

    I have done it. Its pretty brutal.Its been quite some time but it worked well for me. Just cant do it for that long.

    Yeah i dont plan on lifting very heavy either say 20 pounds db for shoulder press stuff like that.

    After reading the article I am definitely going to try this. I'm a firm believer of heavy weight (possible to be achieved with a semi-low 8 reps) and many sets lead to the best growth possible. It really does all come down to how much you bust your ass in the gym and how hard you push yourself, and 8x8 is definitely a set/rep range to knock you out.

    Iv heard good results on this routine from others who tried it(muscle hypertrophy) i think im going to try this routine in a few months when my shoulder is ok... Im recovering from
    injury atm..

    The biggest mistake is starting off with too much weight. I kept havin to drop it down. by the time you get to those later sets your dead. this routine was good for maintaining even building a little mass while improving conditioning ...

    Jimmyinked up, did you use the same weight for all sets ? Or did you pyramid the weight ?

    I kpt he same weight and if i recall it was almost 1/2 of what id normally do for 8 reps ....
