As we all know that T4 is converted in the body into T3, I wanna use T3 to lose weight besides the diet and cardio. What happened is that I couldn't find T3 so here I got T4 (Levothyroxine), would that give the same results?

T3 is much more effective than T4
But T4 still have good effect when it comes to burning fat, right?
And how should I dose it? 150 mcg ED?
I was discussing this with JimmyInkedUp last week.
T4 converts to T3 at a rate of about 25%. So 150mcg of T4 daily will give you around 32.5mcg of T3 daily. And if I recall, the body produces approximately 25mcg daily if T3. So should be enough to see some results.
I'm in the same situation, I have a large cheap supply of T4 available, but T3 is hard to get.
Hope this helps.
Would you have to supplement taurine with this? Doesn't the conversion of T4 to T3 deplete taurine levels? I could b off on this, but I remember reading something when I was reading on clen that clen increases conversion of T4 to T3 and taurine is used in this process so you have to supplement taurine or u run out of "conversion" fuel.Originally Posted by krugerr
I'll have to do some digging on this...
You can get T3 from Ar-r and be done.

Sorry I've been watching too many gangster movies lol
Remember that the body doesn't automatically convert any fixed % of t4 to t3. 25% is a estimate of what a normal healthy person converts but taking supraphysiological doses of t4 can drastically change that because the body converts t4 to t3 as needed not at a set amount.

So why take t4 if u don't have hypothyroidism?
I knew there was something I was missing! I replied whilst watching TV. Apologies OP.Originally Posted by jimmyinkedup
