Too much heavy lifting ie increasing working set weight too quickly is usually the common cause unless youre doing upper body movements in a sloppy manner, which can also cause such injuries.
I had to slow down after taking a 10yr break from lifting. My tendons weren't conditioned like they were 10yrs ago but my muscle memory kicked my strength went up very quickly. I had to do high rep, lower intensity training for a few months on doctors orders lol. I still get shoulder pain sometimes when going very close to 1rm but that may just be because I'm in my 40.s now![]()
Nice im only 25. I dont lift weights alot anymore. Im a bar-athlete if u dnt no what that is look up bar starzz. Also do Parkour and both require strong shoulder and tons of movement so i with u with the intensity part. I see a physical therapist next week. Hope i get this healed in a month so i can get back to training. I can say when i left weight i do use heavy weight. I was told heavy weight with less reps is btter for gaining strength.
Oh you'll be fine. I used to heal fast when I was 25. Not so fast now but not as bad as I thought it would be. I used to think 43 was soo damned old. Lol. GL with the pt. I'm sure you'll be fine. Some of the guys here swear by TB500 and Glucosamine/Chondroitin. Haven't tried it.

Read marcus300's training thread. Yes, heavy weight, low reps is generally the way to size and strength. High rep is more for conditioning and endurance, definition.
Nice thanx
