Before anything begins this is my room mate not me...
STATS
177 pounds
5' 7''
49 years old
20-22 percent bodyfat
Major medical history- 5 heart attacks (drug induced) 8 round of chemotherapy over 4 year period. Was stage 4 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma the last time I was at the doctor. It has spread from my lymph nodes, to my throat, then possibly to my brain. (Stopped medical treatment a year ago) I have been told the last 5 years I have less than a year to live. Gets old. I was also a hermaphrodite when I was born and my parents chose that I became a male because my twin was female.
Issues lately...I have no energy all the time, but I have been walking everyday for the last 2-3 months and it has helped with pain level, mood swings, and my overall energy. A glass of pop throughout the day is the only thing that keeps me awake. I know I need to improve my diet A BIG time, but I feel if I had something to supplement my energy efficiently I would almost feel human enough to start caring again.
History- I was a size 26 waist and 117-122 pounds my whole life until I was diagnosed with cancer. Diagnosed in 2006. Immediately upon getting cancer I was violently attacked and suffered major brain damage and was stabbed 4 times leaving the cancer center. I spent 2 and half months in a hospital, 7 days of it was medically induced coma, and then another 6 months in physical rehab. I had to relearn to read, write, learn. (basically all my basic motor functions). After all the chemo and rounds of horrible chemicals I ended up at 177 pounds with 20 percent body fat. I do remember my doctor saying that from all my medications that I've been and the extreme water retention that has resulted I'm around 25 to 30 percent water weight. I only consume around 1800-2000 calories a day. I don't eat breakfast..maybe lunch. Always dinner.
Please don't tell me to just go to the doctor. I want some honest opinion on this. Would testosterone have any benefit to me or would the cancer just negate EVERY single benefit that testosterone would have to me. I'm sure my hormone levels are far below par. I am just looking for some honest opinions and thoughts on what you think about TRT for me.
