    Exemestane clearance time?

Ok so long story short I couldn't get an AI from my old doc so bought research exemestane. I just took 12.5 mg today but found a doc who is wiling to run bloodwork and give an AI if needed. How long from today should I wait to get bloodwork so it will show my natural E2 level and not have any aromasin in me. Half live is 24 hours so using my math of just dividing 12.5 divided by 2 it would take 27 days, is that correct?

12.5 is pretty weak, I thought the half life was like 12 hours,

Half-life of 27 hours. It will be out of your system in 6-7 days.

I don't think the half-life is that long, Dog. I realize some sources (wikipedia) say this, but I think it's more like 9-12. I can also say that subjectively, it's nowhere near 27 hours, but that's not scientific obviously.

The Pfizer website for Exemestane states "a mean terminal half-life of about 24 hours."

    OP,

    from the Pfizer website,

    "After a single dose of
exemestane 25 mg, the maximal suppression of circulating estrogens occurred 2 to 3 days after dosing and persisted
    for 4 to 5 days. "

    I was wrong too!
A 12.5 mg dose should be out of the system in 3-4 days, not 6-7 like I said.

A single dose of 12.5 mg isn't going to have a significant effect. Just get your BW done.

There are no egos here -- that's one of the reasons I like it.
