Horrible endocrinologist..I am shocked

So He diagnoses me with secondary hypogonadism. Puts me on 5g androgel a day. Doesn't do blood work to test my levels on it..2months later I tell him it's not working for me and I don't feel any different..he then says my low t symptoms were probly not because of my hormones..even though they were very low from blood work. He then tells me to just stop the androgel and ill be fine. EVEN though my nuts have already shrunk! Seriously? I'm totally disgusted..that this is how someone with 10+ years of schooling approaches low t

Legally they shouldn't be allowed to do that. If we know and understand that stopping cold turkey is a bad thing without any PCT. How can doctors not realize, understand or care? That's what I'm afraid of with TRT. A doc suddenly saying "ok your fine now, stop everything"

if i were you i'd pay for a train to shoppen or crisler or whatever doctor is closest...and tell him you are a canada patient and see if they could work something out for you.

this is the one thing that scares me about starting trt especially since shippen is sooooooo old lol.

You have to do what you have to do. The good Doctors with this subject are far and few between. They don't care to get specific training in this dept. and are not required. They have no interest. They don't need you.

I advise you continue your search for a good MD. during the interim do what you need. This board can help greatly.

In anything you do YOU MUST GET ALL THE BW done and in your hands... this ALWAYS. Post the BW . I will caution you, you know you are young and so be carful being your own DR. Please don't confuse cycling with keeping your body good shape. Easy does it, one day at a time. Live in the moment, while you plan for the future. Good luck ....crazy mike

Ya I have the copy that was half assed and doesn't have all the important stuff. But when I went in to see him he tilted the computer to me and I quickly scanned it the best I could. Prolactin, shbg, cortisol, Lh, fsh, test, free test, estradiol etc.. And everything was just low and shitty. I figure ill start doing 125mg 0.5mL a week with .25 or .5mg arimidex 2x a week the day after shots and just order a full hormone panel online after 6 weeks or so

Couldn't take their bs anymore smashed my head through the wall grabbed my stuff and ran out the door now they think I have roid rage from androgel..giving me shit all the time about eating 6 eggs because it raises cholesterol all the while they are walking around with high bf and my step dads got a huge gut yet apparently he's a fvcking diet expert

STOP. You are not on track with the AI. Your E2 is going to go up and down with your proposal. But most importantly why didn't you get a copy. He cannot keep your BW results from you, in your hand to take home or a different doctor or whatever the Fuk. Call him Monday and get it all. If you don't know the numbers what are you doing moving forward.

Hi Buddy, calm down. Think it all out. This reaction /action from your parents is typical. My kids, the kids are 41, 33,31 years old. to me they are still kids. However I will go to them for some advise because they have proven to be knowing and educated. That's the way it is in some families.
But you can work with this. Get some patience and use some wisdom. Take control of your temper whether even if it is post. Take control of this BW situation , you are a legal adult and you get that blood work. Go home make nice, they love you, you do love them. Hey Jesus said Father forgive them , they know NOT what they do. Hey your mom and dad may not know or maybe they know something in something else, but they want to see you succeed and they FEAR THE UNKNOWN and that is what you do.
Please calm, do the next right thing. The NEXT thing that has to be done now. Wait gather your information and you BW. Get help because you are not as goods informed as you need. Put the proposal together after more Q 's and we/these guys will help you get on track. ..crazy mike

NO NOT GOOD YET. Do not take his word or anyone. Have them mail or you pick p the test results. Get the Estradiol we / you need this tests run. Try to post it when you get it ASAP. Was the test E2 a sensitive male assay. We should know that to figure in. Not bashing you. Everything you have done is incomplete. So ok, now go get it going in the right direction. Ok bud ! my dad is very supportive although he has ahd his moments where he doubts me since so many doctors say im fine....but i think now more than ever he is starting to see how dumb they are since his testosterone comes back higher than mine...he also has been taking my suggestions for his own regime since he is always tired and i constantly tell him tht statins arent good for him and im hoping the cholestoff works for me bc then he will go on
