and put violent criminals in those beds..

This would also apply to Steroids.... as long as a violent crime was not committed with a weapon... you would be on probation...

The main reason we had such a big change in sentencing for drug possession was because in the 80's (mostly california, i was there)... crack was just making it's first appearance.....and california ppl wanted to get these people off the streets.......

the rest of the country followed with Regan.. I'm not complaining.. just stating some of the reasons we are where we are today..

so again.. is your state doing anything along these lines....????

THe jails and prisons here in Florida are so over crowded already,they just keep building new prisons.Probably 60% of inmates are in for drug related crimes.Mostly black and Hispanic....these are some bad MOFO's,I don't want these ppl running around.......on another note,you have to be a real F U C K up or serious MOFO to get locked up here in FL.Most just get a smack on the back of the hand...

That's fine to be a wiseguy I think if it's a simple drug offense,they should release these ppl on probation to make room for more violent criminals,but as I stated before our drug offenders are a breed amoungst themselves.No one is injail for an pound of weed,it's more like truck loads of coke and guns...I lived in Miami for 6yrs and saw things you wouldn't believe,and lived in Key West years back when Shrimp boats pulled up to the docks with millions in Coke or weed and all protected by the sherrif dept....Do a Google on the Bubba Bust in KEY West...I was there for that ..the entire police and sherrif dept was arrested by DEA and we were under national gaurde for months......Sorry bro,your state has little problems compared to alot of other states..........my rant is done

Wonderful relaxing place to live....I prefer the lower Keys myself,Like Marathon,Sugarloaf Key....those isles are full of wonderful,interesting and wealthy ppl...it's a lifestyle like none other in the USA

they should start executing prisoners more oftne.. not to sound ****ed up but some people sit on death row for years (unless your in texas where its like 3.9 minutes). either that or we should bunk 3 per cell.. prison isnt soppoused to be a picnic..

Ya got to remember... they are liberals... we are spending $1,000,000,000 by the end of 2006 for light rail.... it doesn't go anywhere... not even a suburb, and is slower than the mass transit bus system currently in place..

But i can guarentee it will pass here.. we have 1 public school that just released info that they have 57 different languages spoken by the attendees, and thier parents..

Too much is too much..

That's why they call it the land of 10,000 taxes......
