I would suggest immediatly going to a doctor. What do you mean exactly by swelling, and how is it spreading??
Inflamation and tightness
Nice, quick, and to the point. I agree, seek medical attention.Originally Posted by SHAGGY

Yeah that sounds like an infection, how are you feeling? In any case get to the doc.
What would he put me on.
I'm on penacilin right now. Started it last night.
Most probably some antibiotic and some anti inflammatory medicine; But I strongly suggest not waiting it out and self administrating, with your symptoms you should really visit the doc as soon as possible, he will advise(sp??) you on what to do and he will asses the situation correctly.
Hope I helped.

don't mess with an infection!!! go to the hospital...
This blows. Damn
sounds like its antibiotics time!
Umm you know an infection could cause you to lose a limb or die right? I should be the last to talk because i drained my own abscess, but seriously go to the doc.
dont say anything about roids, b12 is cool and other shit. nothing about roids!
what are symptoms of an infection. dont u get sick ? color ? I have a similar problem, on friday i injected test e in my left quad. my whole knee is swelled up and went down to my calf which is larger now. it's red and warm, is it an infection or just maybe cause the gear stings no matter where i put it. just getting scared cause its going on 6 days and i stilll cant walk on it, im hurtin at work, can't walk on it.
its time to see a doc manz..
u think so . it is fat as hell. i can push on the swelling and it leaves a finger mark where i press in it . like pushing on foam. u sure it's just not the gear . cause it does sting when i do it in the glutes. first time in the quad. ???
Tell him B12.
This always scares the crap out of me.
i just don't wanna go if i don't have to. anyone ever have this problem. im hoping a day or 2 it will go away ??? this thread scared me .
the odds that an infection(if thats what you have)will just go away on its own are not in your favor.you may be taking chances with your health that you will regret.see a doc.,that you wont regret.gauranteed
No you don't always get sick with infections. Swelling or puffyness ( think blister without the fluid ) redness with a feeling tender to the touch. There are many levels of infection. Most of us healthy horses fight small infections everyday with little to no probs ( zits, insect bites, cuts we don't clean as well we prob should, even injections such as T3 or sus will aggrivate our muscle tissue and create infection ) but because we take vitamins ( b12 etc ) we heal fairly quick. Realize everyone is diff and yes check on your stuff , FAKES= can be made of anything and have known a*holes who put milk in winny bottles and sold it.. talk about DEADLY!.. and was the dart a first time punch or reused all of this needs to thought about. Beyond the fact dude, you could be allergic to the compound you shot... Other then that Dr. is a must if it's traveling other then the smallest area of where you shot.

thanks. i hear ya. i been shooting it in the quads for 9 weeks now , its sore for a couple days. but it was the first time i ever shot in my quad. can that be a possibility of why its so sore and swollen ? the fact that it is virgin muscle?
sorry i meant glutes for 9 weeks *
ok.......
naw i had same problem
My glute injection went wrong and inflamed and spread to my outer thigh and hip....hurt REEEAL bad, but dont worry, just live it out....2 wks tops....i missed work but if u cant miss...go to doctor and get a note...
the only thing they can maybe do is drain it...but i just kicked it on a couch for a week or 2...sux..painkillers tho man...sleep alot...warm it up with hot towel then immediately put ice on it...helps
i used quad quite often...if ur doin toward front, try the side and shouldnt give u much soreness...just dont put over 2ccs
thanks. thats what i wanna hear. yea passed 2 days i stayed layin' down. try and get up and its the worst pain, had to tell everyone in the house that i bruised it. what do u mean by went wrong? i did go lower outside of the quad. but thats what im hopin for , just to suck it up . 2 weeks. damn. i dont think i can do a quad shot again with this gear after doing this to myself.
by went wrong...i meant, well not wrong i guess, but that happend! so i assume i did sumthin wrong like in ject in fat, but i assume if it was in the fat, it would just take my body longer to absorb then cause that...Originally Posted by ManzNumero1

Hey bud,
It might not even be an infection. Does the injection spot feel mushy and hot to the touch? It could be the oil...if there is a high benzyl alcohol content in the oil it will some times cause infection like symptoms. Look up my handle and you'll find a thread about my problems with the same thing from my first cycle. The symptoms take 1-2 weeks to completely pass. Unless you switch to a different test you're going to continue to get them. Sometimes you will, sometimes you won't.
Mind if I ask what brand gear you're using? I was using BD test E. and know of a couple of other people (who PM'd me on the boards) who had similar problems with their test.

Very interesting. As I said I would still go to the doc, but this happened to me numerous times throughout my cycle. I just pushed on through despite the agonizing pain at times. If I had the funds, I deffinently would have got a different brand of test if I could have afforded and will be seeking a different type of test this time around. Here lately BD's batches have been giving quite a few people I talk to the same type of reactions. Don't know exactly what the deal is, but i'm assuming it's the high BA content as that would cause a reaction with the symptoms we both had.Originally Posted by ManzNumero1
Had the same thing happen to me two weeks ago. Shot Tren E into R glute then into L glute. Started to swell pretty bad and pain and redness spread. I thought it just might have been the site or not sterile enough. Then shot into quad and couldnt bend knee for the next 4 days. I got on 2 Z-packs from a friend who is a doc and he said not to worry that the gear was probably bad. Now a little abcess that is getting smaller and no redness or swelling and the infection is gone. Just tossed the gear away though.youll be fine though IMO.
bad advice bro.!!!!Originally Posted by NoFaith068

no i appreciate the advice. right now i don't have insurance , just got a new job. If i can wait at least 4 more days which others have said work than i will. If it continues after a couple more days than i will take the others advice and hit the doc up.
thanks again.
I wasn't giving advice, just listing another possibility. I still went to the doc just in case and advise him to do the same. Did it say anywhere in my post NOT to go to the doctor? I just had a similar problem that was NOT an infection and was curious what type of gear he may be using. I wasn't telling him to do one thing or another, just explaining what happened to me so I really don't see how I was giving advice...Originally Posted by BADASS323

I ended up going to the emergency last tuesday. The swelling, redness, soreness and puffiness spread from my left glute to my lower back and upper thigh. The doctor took some blood and sent me for an mri to see where the abceses where. They also put me on a antibiotic iv drip.
Later that night they sent surgeons down to view my chart and to decide if I would need surgery or not.
Luckily I did not need surgery and my blood work came back good.
I arrived at 8pm and left at 1200 midnight. They put me on amoxicilin and gave me some pain killers.
I took 2 cc's of Test E at 300 mgs per cc in the left glute. What could have caused the infection. Should I throw out this gear and order a different brand.
With the different brand should I shoot a cc into each glute per week.
i would just do 1cc then more up from there....
Don't wait it out. Go see the doc and get it fixed.
i dont have, nor did i have when i had that problem, mine was puffy, red, swollen, mushy and hot to the touch, i just waited
