    Thinking about getting a tat

    Ey bros...
Ive been thinking about this for a while, and I think its gonna go on left chest.
Im mainly looking for chinese or japanese emblems, im not sure if in color maybe just some thick green emblem...maybe a combo of words...
something in the way of love, passion...something relating to my girl , work, bodybuilding...
    What you got for me?

If you are looking for Chinese or Japanese symbols go to the book store and buy a book of them. Thats what my sister did and she just looked through them all till she found one that suited her. The books are pretty cheap to. I've got 3 tattoos and I love them all:

    Left shoulder blade
Dale Earnhard signature with his #3

    Right shoulder blade
Heart with black tribal around it

    Right waistline
My dogs name with Angel wings on both sides

Best advice is to think it over real good...give it some time, and come up with something unique that means something to you personally.

Before a major turning point in my life, I had the chinese symbols for "Faith, Strength, Courage" tattooed on my left arm.

On my right arm I have Calvin from Calvin & Hobbes. I hate that one and right now I'm looking around for an appropriate cover-up tattoo.

I have two Chinese tattoos myself.

One of them is a the Chinese character for dragon(long)its just a small one and the other is a Chinese dragon witch is slightly bigger than my hand.

Here is an excellent web site with every translation possible. I'm sure you'll find what your looking for. http://www.formosa-translation.com/chinese/

    Good luck

i've got the classic arm band....barbed wire and daisys, kinda my naughty&nice art. I also designed a phoenix rising from flames in the sunrise w/ the chinese symbol for desire in the fire for my lower back. It's about 8" x 8". Next one, after I hit the ever evasive goal I set three years ago will be another I designed, about the size of a softball and upper middle back. Good luck and think it through!

I agree with the others, make sure it is something you really want and that it is uniques. I have seven tats and love them all. Most unique one is the symbol laugh now cry later but I split them up one face on one shoulder and the other is on the other shoulder. Have had lots of compliments on how I had done that.
lifes too short so live it up !!!

That is soooo tight! I'm gonna do the ruler thing- she'll have to guess-ta-mate on the last inch or so, cause there's no way the tip of a needle is going near mine. Ahhhhh!

I have a chain of rhinos around my arm, with chinese symbols inside each one- faith, love, hope, kindness, temperance, and diligence. I thought of all the things that my father taught me as I was growing up, and realized these are things that will never change in my life---- unlike a Pac-Man or a faded naked lady.

Not sure if you already have gotten the tat, but i see a lot of them are wrong. For the most part, it takes two characters to 'make a word'. I see a lot of people with one character and say "it means...". Anyway, my point is, Im a chinese linguist and if you PM me and tell me what it is in English you want your tat to mean, Ill PM you with the chinese and send you an email if you want of the characters.
