    What's your favourite beer?

I consider myself a bit of a beer buff...and know my beer.

Here's a list of my favs.

    Erdinger (German wheat beer)
    Pilsner Urquell (Czech Pil)
    Creemore Springs (Ontario Microbrewery)
Upper Canada Dark Ale (Ontario Microbrewery)

Keith's on tap, spoken like a true Canadian.

Sleeman's is also a good beer. The only problem is with the clear bottles, if you don't drink it all and you leave the bottles in the fridge, it gets skunky because of the sunlight.

Red Cap in the stubbie bottles is not bad as well.

    GUINNESS.

Erdinger (white label) is very nice but far too gassy.

...is that the non-alcoholic one? Haha. j/k

    I think that's the 'Champ'.

I can only get the Erdinger Weissbier 'with fine yeast'. Even finding that here can get tricky...it's never in stock. Also finding Erdinger glasses are next to impossible.

I like the first pilsner on earth! Pilsner Urquell.

Don't mind a Harp on draft when I can find it.

If you need an Erdinger glass and can't get one, PM me. I work in a bar and have lots, I'll find the best way to post. You really need the long glass to really enjoy that stuff.

I call Rickard's Red "Pirate Beer" because when I'm drunk and order it I say "Arrr Arrrr".

    Anyway, my picks...

    Canadian - Alexander Keith's

American - Pete's Wicked and Sam Adams Summer Ale

Imported - Kilkenny, but I can never find it, so it's Guinness.

Solid picks, especially the Rickards, and Keith's...

I've never even tried Kilkenny, I feel so sheltered

All right no offense but Fat Tire is ****e, Ft. Collins CO produces much better beer, check out O'Dells 90 Shilling, Easy Street Wheat, far superior to New Belgium's beer, unless you can find Frambozen. Guinness in my opinion is the beer that all are measured against. The only other beer I would match it too can't be found outside the brewery and that is Tommyknocker Black Powder Stout. Other than that Tommyknocker Maple Nut is quit fantastic as well. I love beer.

Pilsner is a type of beer, dude, like ale or lager. For example, Labatt Blue is a pilsner.

But then again, Yuengling Lager is the local beer around here and we just call it "Lager".
