    Vein in Glute Shot?

I've never had a problem with glute shots - no pain, veins, or nerves. Today, I was surprised when I used my typical 23g x 1.5" pin and it hurt like hell as I put it in. I aspirated, and for the first time ever, drew in a bunch of blood. To be honest, I was glad to see aspirating actually pay off, but I was surprised to hit a vein in my ass. Is that common to his veins in the glutes?

Also - what's up with the pain in the ass when I've never had that before?

Gracias Stocky. After a bad quad shot, I've stuck to glutes and delts and never a had a problem until today. I should get a tatoo on my ass showing where not to inject next time.

Ive hit veins four different times during this cycle ( first one ) two guys i know never aspirate, never !! So the first two shots i ever did i was so shaky i coulnt aspirate, but thank God i did the third time, sure enough BLOOD, then three more times during the cycle, and just like you i was almost glad to see blood, because maybe if i never did and got lazy, i would not aspirate..But its better to see that little bubble ! !
