Attention AR:

We are restructuring our website to best suit the millions of members and guests that visit this site each year! We know how dangerous things can be without proper knowledge and guidance that AR brings for free each day.

In the past, we have had moderators to help show members around the site, keep the board free of immature people, enforce rules, show leadership, and above all, ensure the growth and stability of our free services. The moderators and other staff at AR have gone above and beyond to help the growth of this site and everyone should always be greatful to them. The owners and admin of this site have been privileged to be a part of the continued education in AAS and AAS related activities and we decided it was time to bring in some full time staff to help move us along in the right direction!

You will notice some new types of members called “AR-Scouts” These are members who show great interest in keeping AR the best place possible to learn. Their most important role as a Scout is to report posts, threads, or activities that are against the rules of AR. They will report any and every infraction to the Admin, who will take immediate action. Scouts do not have any authority over other members at AR. They are members who have chosen to become part of the AR staff because they value the board and the information it brings to so many.

You will also notice that there are a few more “Admin” on the site than normal. These admin are PAID employees of AR. They will be the ones to enforce the rules at all times. These Admin are unbiased as to who is breaking rules or creating a disturbance. Their sole job is to work for the members, guests, and sponsors. Admin may or may not be helpful in finding the answers that you want regarding AAS, but they will make sure that time you spend on the website will pleasant and enjoyable.

Mods have not been "done away with" in that context. Now the AR-Hall of Famers can spread their wealth of knowledge without having to bother with editing and political bullshit. Hall of Famers should be shown a great deal of respect due to the help,knowledge, and time donated.

What an uproar, and its not the first time. Changes are made and people get mad, I remember the last time it happened about 5 months ago and there were changes. Some people will be happy and some will not. Some will leave some will stay, the forum will go on.

I dont really have much to say about it, but I will say this. Over the last few months I feel people have already left, well maybe even longer than a few months. I will focus on the mods. It is rare to see gearaholic, rickson, keymastur, bouncer, 3vandoo give advice (well rare to see rickson, gearaholic or keymastur even online at all, and there are others but these come to mind immediately). Nothing against these guys AT ALL (although Im sure some will take this the wrong way). These members imo were merely still members BECAUSE they had mod powers and kept the forums clean. I mean now that they have no power I dont think they will continue to "share their knowledge" because they seemed to be here solely to moderate. It is a shame that the events came about this way with no warning whatsoever, but this is the real world and shit happens.

This forum will go on that wont be in jeopardy, but the quality of people/advice will diminish imo. Too bad.

I'm all for it...there are simply people that are able to spend time on the site & "police" it to keep us all safe-the members...the readers...the UGLs --EVERYONE. I love this site & most of the guys on here. I dont see how this would possibly be a problem for anyone that uses & enjoys this site.

This happpens once, maybe twice a year. Staff members change, etc..Members, Vets, Mods leave, new ones appear.. Nothing new.

Make your own mind up about the board moving forward or backward due to it.

We have tried not to post anything that would pertain to sales increase maybe even quite the opposite with any of our postings. If you ask anyone in the HRT forum we try to help out individuals in regards to their HRT programs with postings of studies and other material that relates to problems that may occur. With our access to research and studies regarding HRT programs we will continue to try to educate those individuals.
