jeez that is some story mate. Do you still see your step dad? Doesn't sound like you get on too well. I might get that book I quite like the true army stories.
That's CRAZY. I know SAS definitely give SEALs a run for their money. Props to your dad bro, what a great life achievement! I'm sorry to hear about his death, but he had a very great life from the sounds of it.
Nice Story.....but.......its the other way around....(and the SAS would, and regularly do stomp all over Delta - even on a bad day)![]()
Oh yeah, like when Delta Force's Iranian hostage rescue mission, what was the outcome? Its now known as the "Desert One Debacle" that pretty well sums it up, 8 dead.Originally Posted by IronFreakX
The SAS's Iranian hostage rescue mission? All but one terrorist dead, one captured, no UK military casualties.
Delta and Rangers go into Somalia to get out a downed US chopper? Well everyone knows what happened. 18 Soldiers dead
SAS go into Sierra Leone to rescue a captured army patrol? One man killed.
I could go on, but the figures and successes of the SAS kind of speak for themselves. SASDelta
my votes with the SAS.
