Does any one know how I can check my bandwith or my ping rating.?? I just put 3 computers on my Cable Modem, through a router. My connection is like 500kb.. But I can upgrade to a 1200kb for like 20 more bones a month.. I play counter strike and shit, just want to make sure my connection is fast...

Thanks scott..I got a 466.6kb I think that i am paying for like a 520.0 or some thing..But I am sure that it changes with the amount of people online.

with cable the more people that are using the cable system, the slower you will go.

Your paying for a max, not a guaranteed speed. DSL you get your own line, but most times slower than cable
