Travel to Europe for 2 weeks, need advice

Obviously Ive never been to Europe.....

Im flying into Austria this summer and then flying back to the USA from Rome, Italy. I'll be going for two weeks. My wife will be out there before me (study abroad program) and Im going to met her in Austria. We plan to travel mostly in Italy and maybe a few surrounding countries.

    Questions:
    1) Is it easy to get plenty of quality food out there, lol? Also, should I pack a shaker and protein whey?

    2) I want to run HGH while Im out there. Is it a good idea to mail out 2weeks worth (powder form) to my wife beforehand so that I dont fly with it? Or can I readily get HGH in most European countries (I obviously am clueless to their laws).

    3) Are there a lot of places that I can get a good workout at? I dont have to workout ED but Id like to get in the gym at least every-other-day if I can.

    Thanks for your help.

I'd just concentrate on getting calories, just do pushups/situps/pullups if needed but otherwise use this time to take a break and let your body rest and concentrate on what you're out there for.

I leave for Africa for 2wks this summer, I'll be in the same boat. Get some Military meals if needed or shakes if no food is available IMO.

That sounds good: giving the body a rest. However, Im going to Mexico for a week in 3 weeks. I thought that would be a nice rest. So, Im a bit worried about taking 3 weeks off in a two month period.

    1) There is alot of quality food in Europe, consider Trattorias. Fast, inexpensive and decent menu.
    2) Countries east of Italy you may find some easily but west of it your chances are equivalent of a tourist seeking controled substances in the US.
3)You will find some but again ***ending if you're in a major city like Rome, Florence, Milan, Bologna.

Enjoy your vacation a week or two here and there isnt going to effect you much, if you happen to find a gym so be it, if not just enjoy.

I had a small injury to my lower back/upper glute area and took 4-5months off from deadlifting and pulled last week 405 x 12 reps pretty easy.. I was pulling 500 x 8. If your diet is on point and your caloric needs are being met a few weeks will do nothing negative to you, it'll only be beneficial..

Before you leave hit a few very intense/heavy workouts prior to leaving and your body will thank you during your trip with growth.

No shit, enjoy the vacation and forget the gym. I'm pretty obsessed but if I was Europe with my wife, working out would be the last thing I am concerned about.. Go to Amsterdam.

lol. Point taken, guys. I'll just make sure to eat...

I spent several hours last night with the Mrs looking on the Internet at all the places to see and do and I can tell that Im going to forget about everything else when Im over there.

Were starting at Vienna for a day or two and then to Venice for a night then back around to Croatia's coastline for a couple nights then continue down south to Greece for another 3-4 nights. After, were going to hop on a ferry to southern Italy and work our way up to Rome for the last 3-4 days. I am getting very excited.

My last trip to Europe was great, honestly you'll be so much bigger than most every guy there you won't even worry about working out. Although the ppl there eat much better than Americans and seem to be in much better health, they don't seem to lift weights
My trip to China was even funnier, "OH GODZILLA!"

Have a great time! It'll be an experience.

What are your stats Johny? What is your maintenance caloric needs? Keep in mind if you aren't lifting they will be slightly lower so you can get away with eating a little less while on vacation, just keep your food choices clean and your protein intake consistant.

Im 5'9, 194lbs and 9% bf. Ive been cutting for the last two months. My maintenance needs are around 2400-2600 cals. (took me a year to get that locked in).

I plan on getting most of my foods from stores or whatever they have and keeping 2-3 meals with me all the time.

The quality of food here is shit. I'd recommend u go to a chinese restraunt. They are on every corner here. Austrian cuisine, French, Italian and Greek foods are all crap.

Holla at me. My gym has day passes @ 7€ per day

    Thanks for your help.
    I'm from Vienna Austria.
