Highest indicated reading on mine... 181mph... on I-80 in the middle of no where Nevada. On the track... 145mph... whole different ball game there!


One thing's for sure... it's a completely different spiratual plane of existance at that speed.

ABSOLUTELY! A drop top Corvette for 7500? I would do it as long as it ran good and there was no noticable problems with the drive train or other mechanical parts.

Paint looks like it's still in good shape, wheels too. How's the interior?

I've been into Corvettes for many, many years, I have a C3 with a 500+hp big block. I would be amazed if this car is pushing close to 500hp. What engine mods did he make?

im a fox body style mustang man.... got an 89 5.0 hatch... paxton supercharger.... stompin the happy peddle on that thing almost rips the frame in half...

i got a 91 with a bunch of engine and suspension work...i love those cars...oh and they dont have a frame there a unibody

lol... well you know what i ment... i had to weld custom made sub-frame connectors to keep the twist from the torque down.... but yea i got ebach springs on there, cobra R rims... all the goodies...

I don't remember the modifications that he has but it has been dyno tested at 480hp.

I'd have it checked out by a mechanic and have a compression test done, if it checks out good then I would say yes. Being that it is normally aspirated it's highly unlikely it has 480hp, he could easily have a dyno sheet from a different car or just an edited dyno sheet, but still if it checks out good from a mechanic I'd go for it.

That engine looks stock...and a little dirty. I don't think that would have 500hp...maybe if I saw a couple turbo's or a fat-ass supercharger on top of the manifold

The stock intake with out a blower can only push 400 at max. Sorry. It dont even have a set of headers on it. Also it dont look like a flowmast exhaust. It looks like a power effects.

What is it worth. Look up the book value for a stock 89 vette with 100k on it.
