    My MOM and HGH

Due to some helth problems my mother is having, one of the remedies is HGH. Her doctor has given her the prescription and prescribed 1.5 iu's daily. Unfortunately, Insurance came back and said that they won't cover the cost of the "experimental treatment". WHat would be the best route to go? Pharmacy cost on HGH are rediculous. any advice would be great as she is counting on me for alternatives. -RHINO

I'd sue the insurance company.. Or get another opinion on the term "experimental treatment" thats' the issue, the insurance company has designated that this line of treatment is not normal treatment for the illness..

    or

go with a traditional form of treatment..

    or

u know what to do from there..

the stuff the dr. prescribed is Saizen. or somatropin. It comes in 5mg vials. The 5mg vials are close to 500 dollars. Anyone know the conversion for the amount the 5mg is in ius?

Go to Costco. With a script and no insurance it's still much less than that.
Check their website. They have pricing on there.

I don't think you can convert Somatropin mg to iu's.if you can it might be drug specific...is that what youre asking?
