I agree, but with some things to add.

drug laws: I should be able to take what ever I like as long as its not hurting anyone else, including my family.

abortion: you can do what you like with your own body but I don't want the gov paying for it out of my tax $$$ anymore than I wanna pay for some chick to get implants. ( It could also be argued that its not your body you are doing harm to).

Homophobia: This is a made up term used by left wing people to try and make people feel bad about not liking homosexuals. Just because someone does not like your life style does not make them scared as the name implies. Its meant to get then childish reaction " I aint scared " Does this make homosexuals Caligynephobia ( fear of women )?

Just because you don't like or agree with something does not mean you are scared of it.

So if your daughter or son was getting raped. So you would just stand there and let it happen. Its obviously what God wants, and like you said, maybe they will learn from their experience
One of the more stupid comments I have seen. Many flaws with this logic.

Homosexuality is neither a lifestyle nor a choice. One could say that this assumption was invented by 'right wing people' to justify their dislike and opposition to homosexuality. The gay stereotype lifestyle you're speaking of is independent of sexual orientation.

And fear doesn't mean that you're theatrically scared of something. Humans react in many different ways to fear. One reaction would be feelings of disgust and hatred towards an object.

Depends on who you ask. I have asked a gay man if their was a pill he could take that would make him straight, would he do it. He said no, because its his choice to be gay. Go figure. Seems a lot of gay people would disagree wiith you.

As for having a phobia: I don't like sushi , it disgusts me. But I don't have an unreasonable fear of it. So the term homophobe makes no sense. It implies an unreasonable fear of homosexuals. I can, not like something without fearing or hating it.

Did you choose to be straight?

If it were a choice, you would be able to start being attracted to men anytime you want. It's as much of a choice as your gender.
I'm sure lots of gay men would say no to a pill like that. Why do it if you're comfortable with yourself?

Do you think gay people in Iran, for example, chose to be gay for the fun of getting prosecuted and eventually hanged? No one in their right mind would choose a lifetimer of oppression.

Would you avoid going to your friend's house, if all he served was Sushi? Are you that disgusted by it? You can always go and just not eat Sushi.

I think it really just depends on your level of dislike. Would you still love your best friend as much if he came out of the closet? If you just have a problem with the gay stereotype's lifestyle, then you should still be able to love your friend. After all, nothing would have changed about him except what (or rather who) he does in the bedroom.

okay, why dont you like sushi?? why does it disgust you?? that's where the fear comes in.. there are diff contexts of fear...

i dont eat sushi.. why? becuase its raw and looks/tastes disgusting.. the fear lies in the "looks/tastes" or maybe a bad exp with it like food poisoning...

the same people who created religion are the same people who used to dance to try to make it rain... some people around the world still dance for rain, and we look at them like they are stupid cause we all know dancing for rain is pretty upsurd..so what does that say about the other part?

Yep. Through time and technological advances, religions will come and go, each trying to brain wash the close minded.

    Disagree.

Those who created religion did it to control others and govern the world.
Those who still dance for the rain to come are just ignorant people who did not have the chance to study and still behave as their own ancestors did.

^ Too true. We will always abandon religion in small steps because fact overrides a thought. People believed in multiple gods... The sun god, Goddess of beauty, etc. Now we all know that isn't true. Eventually it will be proven that God is merely the lead character in a novel.

Besides - religion is so ornate that whenever a question is brought up, the only answer people can reply with is; HAVE FAITH.

    No thank you.

You do know what "ornate" means right?

anyway, if the people you're talking to about religion can only reply with "have faith", perhaps you need to talk to some more educated people.

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

Many ancient civilizations believed in a number of gods, egyptians had many. And you could NOT convince them that those gods were fake or not real etc. But we now believe they are not real generations down the road.

And now there are modern day gods that people CANNOT be convinced are fake or dont exist...same shit.

Generations down the road we will all realize its a crock of BS.

If people believe in a god and it makes them a better person than Im all for it. Im not against it, I just know there isnt one.

I mean look at the stories in the bible, a guy builds an arc for every animal, someone lives inside a whale?

If I was read those stories as a kid I wouldnt be able to tell what the bible was and what the fairy tales were.

I respect your opinion. But by this statement, you are publicly declaring that you're an all knowing God yourself. Just remember that by believing and trusting in God, you have nothing to lose. But everything to gain.

Good looking physique by the way!
