Newbie, 1st cycle, would appreciate your advice

I'm a 52 year old male. In pretty good shape, have always tried to stay there. 6'1 180 lbs. My goal is to put on 10-15 lbs of muscle esp. in the legs, and hopefully maintain it for a few years. For the work-out I plan to do only push-ups and sit-ups w/ bicycling, running and punching a heavy bag. I live on a small Hawaiian island and there is no real gym here to work out in. For diet: a lot of red meat, raw Ahi (yellowfin tuna) pasta and fruit. Any advice or comment is greatly appreciated. I posted my pic to give a better idea for advice.

    Here's the cycle I'm considering:

    Weeks 1-10: 500mg Testosterone Enanthate per week (2x 250mg)

    Weeks 1-12: 25mg Aromasin EOD

    Weeks 4-12: 500iu's of HCG per week (2x 250iu's)

    PCT

Week 13-14: 40mg Nolvadex per day

Week 15-16: 20mg Nolva per day

    Welcome, friend!

A tad on the lighter side. You might want to consider adding a few more lbs naturally before you start. Anyway... about the cycle:

I would take it to 12 weeks.

Aromasin is fine, but I prefer Adex because it works virtually instantly. Aromasin is stronger so you just need to be cautious. You can dose adex @ 0.25 EOD.

HCG looks good. Wouldn't hurt to run it all 12 weeks.

PCT needs to start 14 days after your last injection, not immediately.

Lastly, PCT should consist of both nolva and clomid, dose like so: clomid 100/50/50/50 and novla 40/20/20/20 (Each number represents the daily dose for that week, 4 weeks total PCT).

    Best of luck to you!

austinite is right, I would try to throw on a few more pounds naturally before you cycle. Try to get a couple more meals per day in and train hard. After you throw on a couple more pounds your cycle layout seems pretty solid for a first cycle.

    good luck

also get some blood work done, at 52 your test levels are more than likely on the lower side, and if they are you may want to consider TRT/HRT..

To OP: You are going to want to consider joining a gym or getting a home-gym if you want to add that much to your legs!

He already stated there was no gym close to him. And home gyms are good, but pricey.

10 to 15 pounds of muscle without hitting the weights?Guys I just dont see it.Like kronik said maybe some bloodwork to get some trt goin would benefit him greatly.I just think trt at 150-200 mgs of test cyp depending on bloodwork would be ideal for cycling, running, push ups sit ups. What do you guys think?

No but for reals I think trt would be excellent for him and not just to create muscles which he will even at a low dosage but just for general health and well being. At 52 he should be a perfect candidate.

if there was no gym around where i lived id either setup a home gym, bench, DBs, etc.. or improvise, eg: with 2 buckets of water you can do bicep curls and lunges/squats, find some monkey bars and do chin ups/ pull ups/ dips, and just find heavy things such as rocks/boulders and move them etc..

He looks better than most 52 year olds out there. Must be doing something right. I do like the low dose of test, though. I think you're not giving him enough credit.

No I agree he does look good and lean for 52 but if he wants a little more then yeah the low test will do the trick,

I respectfully disagree. Although HRT might be a viable option, i need to look no farther than to know OP's diet is off. And in a big way.

OP- Please tell us what your current diet consists of.

Sorry about that delay. Thanks for the input! I eat red meat, raw fish, pasta, salad and fruit. But not much at all- right now only about once a day. I manage a health food store which is sedentary, so to keep the gut off I don't eat unless really hungry.

I've been looking into TRT also, but again the island doesn't have it here. Would have to go to Oahu or Maui, and not sure if my insurance would cover it- again I haven't researched it thoroughly. But the advice about low T could be good- this is why I posted here. About muscle, it was a goal- 10lbs of muscle all over, emphasis on legs. Not sure if it's realistic or not with the exercise I planned. About your advice havanakid- You suggested low dose of Test C.- would Test E work as well? It's what I have. Thanks again everyone!

It is pretty much a lifetime committment.I dont want to paint unicorns and rainbows for you wthout giving you the 411 on it.Something to think about. In my opinion.IN my very honest and humble opinion if I was 52 and eventually I hope to get there and my test was low I would jump on it in a heartbeat.IM almost 38.I could probably come off it and be ok.My main issue at the time was high estrogen which led to some side effects which in turn led to me jumping on trt.Maybe just controlling my estrogen would have been enough???Its already been over a year though so there really no way that I will return back to nothing unless it was absolutely necessary. If at your age(52) your levels are decent after bloodwork then you may want to wait a little longer.Chances are they will be low cause time is time and age is age but only bloodwork will tell.I wish you the best my friend and I hope the decision you make provides you with a good quality of life regardless.Take care.

Yes sir!! Sucks about the trt man. There are places that do it by mail you just have to find the right one. They send you for bloodwork and send you a monthly supply by mail so you can self inject but I believe they dont take insurance. This is just something a found over a year ago when I was looking for trt help.It was a company in florida.Anyways test e is about the same as test c so youre good.

Or keep it simple and run your test e like you previously mentioned. It's a good cycle.
