Hi,
I’m looking for advice on tweaking my cycle and altering the stack. I’ve run the "novice steroid cycle I" twice - Testosterone-Enanthate 500mg for 12 weeks, Dianabol 30mg for 6 weeks, with the addition of 0.5mg Arimidex per day. I do perhaps one cycle a year and the second time around I retained most of my strength and muscle mass post cycle. Currently at 5ft 10, 37, 190lbs around 10% body fat, aiming to get to about 8% pre cycle in the new year. My goal is to put on some additional mass though my aim is getting to 200lbs at around 10% body fat and staying there.
Two issues I found with this stack which I’d like to address before I cycle again:
i) Whilst I had gynecomastia surgery years ago (genetic rather than steroid induced) I still got quite sensitive nips/nip sensation from this stack so my body clearly likes to convert to oestrogen. I think it’s mainly from the Test Enanthate as it starts perhaps 4 weeks in and continues into week 13 or so. I can live with this, Airidimex keeps the issue in check though it’s not ideal and I have no tangible symptoms bar the tingle. IMO in order to completely resolve excess oestrogen I’d need to be on around 0.75mg Airidimex per day.
ii) The second issue bothers me more – whilst on this cycle, I see massive gains whilst on the Dianabol for the first 6 weeks and literally from week 7 onwards I struggle to gain any weight, mass or strength. Quite frustrating, once the Dianabol is discontinued the cycle feels over. The last 5 weeks seem literally just to be bedding in the gains, I make very little gains after week 7 when the Dianabol’s out of me. Say I put on 20lbs of weight during the 12 weeks, 16 or 17lbs are in the first 7 weeks. On Test Enanthatethe only gains literally stop.
Really, what I’d like is to add an additional steroid for weeks 7-12 though I am not entirely opposed to dropping Test Enanthate and going with something else as the main steroid or going for a shorter chain (which I probably will for the last 2 weeks). I really quite like the Dianabol so I’d be weary of dropping that. I’d like the gains in strength and mass to continue during weeks 7-12, even at a reduced pace, just not to come to a dead stop.
Trenbolone seems quite harsh, I’d rather keep clear. Deca… I’m not at all keen on the sideffects. I could also raise the Test Enanthate level to 600mg per week though from the two above issues, I think my body converts this particular steroid readily so I will potentially end up with even more of an oestrogen problem and no additional strength/gains. Anavar is just too expensive, I can afford it but it seems extremely poor value. What about adding Equipoise into the full 12 week cycle? Eq seems to polarise people, given I want a relatively small kick it may be worth it though I AM bulking.
Any other options I’m missing? Any advice appreciated. Thanks
